I don't wanna hear "Alot of people think the Bioware models look good". They look goofy and terrible compared to the OPs work. It doesn't seem like it's that hard to do either (if you know what you're doing) as it took the OP 2-3 days after release to do this.
look around you. there are goofy looking people and less the model type. i like the variety more.

Though I never had a problem with Velanna's appearance, I think the one on the lower left of those 4 you posted looks perfect for her. Any of the 3 new ones would be an improvement though.
Since I bought DAO for XBox, I resigned myself to buying Awakening for it too, even though I regretted not going PC. Well now I'm REALLY regretting it. I never even wanted to use any mods, but this is too good.

I vote for top-right Velenna.

This mod is changing things that others thought should be fixed. It may not be the best mod for you.
Here are the original designs. These are not doctored. You can view them in your game by using the right mouse button and dragging over to zoom into faces of characters.
Original Designs <----------
There is a difference between character design and when a person is to be characteristicaly unattractive.

Oh my! Now I DO wish I got it on PC instead of Xbox! WOW!
Seriously, trade. I had the PS3 version, and the mods make this game so much better. I do miss the console gameplay, but the mods like this one are so worth it. Plus the PC version is 10 dollars cheaper! (For Origins that is, not Awakening)

Yeah I am not sure if it was lazyness on Bioware's part most likely was seeing Mass Effect 1 everyone looks the same when they turn to the side but yeah I don't know it could be them trying to rush to get it done or they wanted a realer affect.
Bioware has greatly disappointed me

lol looking at all those original models i think Bioware uses a randomly generated models for your non companions
lol I think so too, Gaider said the designers put thought in their face morphs.... I wish I could believe him, but thank goodness for PC. I feel sorry for the console players lol

much thought and effort for their NPC like you do for yours. Now people
can argue that bioware is busy and stuff to bother with this, but its still part of the game,
and people are paying for it, they really shot themselves in the foot on this one when it comes to visuals,
and trying to fall into the allusion of the game. I like what you did for Velenna, the original design made her look like a alien, now her actually looks elvish

euuuhhhh, is it mean to say these original designs made my head shiver when I zoomed to look at them. Even my little sibling said they were bad, well more specificly, called them ugly, I bet you there are going to be other people defending these designs

To me certain faces in Awakening are just anatomically impossible, completely cartoonish. I other cases, some simply don't fit the characters. But the worse thing, are the eyes, all the eyes are to big, almost anime style on some of the characters, it's actually distracting.
As for Velenna, the lower left face comes across as the most Dalish to me, The hair should be more in keeping with a rampaging elf though, wilder looking.
Good work

As OP said, there is a different between characteristically ugly (good), and poor design (probably game devs making heads at 3AM while an EA suit is standing behind with a whip).

That's an insult to anime. While large, the eyes in anime have the sparkle of this author's mod. The stock characters are just the worst of both worlds.
