Justice looks badass! Great work so far

Velanna not needing a change? Pfff.

The people that doesn't find this mod useful, don't use it. The one that has some suggestions to how to make it better, post them (Petehog has always said that he will consider suggestions that are said in a respectful manner).

I will use it all, 'cause I play this game to see fantasy, to see stunningly beautiful elves, see nobles thqt actually looks like they have mirrors and taste and broken down people that actually looks sick/hurt/whatever.
Petehog does this in his mod, and please stop bashing him for it. Just don't use the mod :)

Ugliness is subjective. Personally, I saw nothing wrong with everyone not being supermodels.

I demand an Aesthetics Justice romance mod!!!!11 8-O

A comment on dwarves in general:
I saw what I felt was a design decision mistake in Improved Atmosphere
mod, so I want to raise the point here since your mod is entirely a NPC
facial mod.

I think dwarves, male *and* female, should retain their distinctive
dwarven features: big cheekbones, big nose, strong jaw, etc. Don't make
them look "human" in order to increase their attractiveness by our
human standards.

For example, Rica Brosca. I think she (the original Bioware
version) looks great by dwarven standards; those are the marks of beauty
for Orzhammar dwarves. Solid yet soft, matronly, dignified facial
lines.

Ugliness is subjective. Personally, I saw nothing wrong with everyone
not being supermodels.

That's not the point.  Characters, ugly or otherwise, that look like they were born in medieval Europe = GOOD.  Characters that don't look human = BAD.
Some of those characters look like an :alien: or a -_- made them.  Look at the pics yourself.

I have taken your advice regarding dwarves. I went back and changed the dwarf bartender.

woooooooooooooooooow. I pick # 3 for Velanna (with circular tatoo, tho tattoo must stay for story reasons) and I love the aesthetic version of Justice!!! so much cooler looking. I like most of your changes.

Though Sigrun is fine the way she was imo. She has a certain charm to her with her legion of the dead look. her cheek tattoo matched perfectly with the concaving cheek.

But the worse thing, are the eyes, all the eyes are to big, almost anime style on some of the characters, it's actually distracting.

Good work

That's an insult to anime. While large, the eyes in anime have the sparkle of this author's mod. The stock characters are just the worst of both worlds.

Anime style is great when used in the intended format, DAO faces however are not anime, and the large eyes only tend to make the faces a bit more freakish.

I am trying the eye mod version of 6.6 and really liking it so far, plenty of sparkle and light reflection without the perma surprise look.

All you did was make the models, 'pretty' in the real world heros are not as pretty and nobles and rich people tend to overuse make up and wear things that just don't look right. I always thought that was the way they were leaning.

Is you have a mod though where you can kill Oghren in 50 different ways I would be most interested

I bet you're a hoot at the movies.

So I'm curious, since you removed the Yosemite Sam mustache, will that screw up your character if he wears that beard style? You might be able to tell from my avatar I have a personal stake in this. Or does it just mean you won't run into any NPCs with that style (which actually would be fine with me).

You won't run in to NPCs with that particular style. Nothing changes about your PC. Petehog is simply just choosing another style for the NPCs :)

The redesigned Cell Guard in the pic looks so realistic it's frightening. It's like Bioware made a great face morph engine, then just didn't know what to do with it.

+1 on no dark faces orange hair. Works in anime. Not in DAO/DAA.

Posted Image

And certainly doesn't work irl either...

My personal quest in Amaranthine will be to stamp out this thoroughly disturbing fashion fad before it takes root and corrupts all of Fereldan.

You have good aesthetic sense. The original designs are really jarring; I'm glad you're also not just making 'beautiful' character. It's good to recognise the difference between 'unattractive' and 'goofy', as was the case with Awakenings. Eagerly awaiting this.

As for Valanna, go with the first option. She has that slight 'stern' look about her.

I prefer Verlana when she has the pony tail *_*

It's totally my image of a nature magic user, druid!

This looks really good! The changes make sense. Looking forward to the release.

I would ask though, is it possible to have a checkbox on the characters you do want changed but leave the ones you don't want changed? I actually like Sigrun the way she is...

Not sure it's possible but modder usually make a separate file to "change" a companion appearance so : please can you make different file for companions with different hairccuts ? :3

Yea, I started looking for something like this pretty quickly.  I don't mind most of it, not everyone needs to be beautiful.  But all the female characters look so gaunt.  Bring those cheeks out wider or something.

Hey, been tracking ur work from F3 and DA nexus, anyway, I think that there shud b some revisions if u havent already made them:

-SPOILERS POSSIBLE-

-The person called "Private" that gives u all the mail, looks OK, but has extremely huge eyes

-The Baroness and that traitor noble should look a bit more different, they look like clones.

-Wade has that mustache that you seem to not to want

-Constable near the city gates looks slightly strange with his combination of hair and skin color
