I started an Orlesian Warden, and I noticed a few more things.



During the opening attack on Vigin Keep, after Dwarken used his bombs, the Darkspawn destroyed the baricade around the door, but they did not open the door. I had to reload...



If your inventory is full, you can't buy backpacks, recipies, or tracings, even though they take up no space. You also can't pick up recipies or tracings when your inventory is full...



This one is not really a bug, but an oddity. At Henley's Apothacary, he stocked 2 copies of the Lesser Elixer of Grounding Recipe, and Swift Salve Recipe.



Finally, two different styles of Clothing have the exact same name (Clothing).

Uhhh....Yeah..... I paid 40.00 of my hard earned money on this and I will whine and complain about it if I so choose to do so. This thread was created to list of bugs in the expansion and I am expressing my dissapointment in letting so many bugs glitches get through. If you don't like it then don't read my post.

I got the mini-map bug in a random encounter about three hours in. After that it began reappearing in regular towns and dungeons. Most notably the huge-ass forest with the elf lady and all the big tree things. I'm not so good with names.

I also found the minimap bug. It happened during two random encounters. They both took place in a very dry, desert/canyon-looking area. One was a Darkspawn ambush, and the other was a pair of Blood Mages.

Here we go, can't you go cry in the whiner threads, there are a million of them to choose from.  I don't care if you worked in a coal mine for your $40 or found it on the street.

I actually issued the ordered to have him imprisoned and he still wasn't in the dungeon.

I had the same problem, but for the playthrough it happened on it was an import, not a new Orlesian.

I had the same problem, but for the playthrough it happened on it was an import, not a new Orlesian.

I merely pointed out that it was a second playthrough, so that it would highlight that it did not happen every time for me. I'm not sure if it mattered, but I was standing in the little room with the barricades during the time that the Darkspawn failed to open the door.

During this playthrough, I got further through the It Came From Beneath quest line before it glitched up. Last time, I managed to beat the Ogre, but it did not turn into a spirit Ogre. This time, I defeated the spirit Ogre, but the quest did not count him as being defeated. I did get the cutscene afterwards, though...

During the battle with The Mother, all of the other party members became uncontrolable and I could only use my main character. This made the final battle impossible as everyone else decided that childer grub squishing was more important than slapping The Mother. I gotta say that they really dropped the ball here. The game is far from finished and unless they intend to release one helluva game patch any time soon I feel cheated. If they wanted beta testers for the game they should be paying me!!

First 30 minutes playthrough,I noticed quite some SFX problems(missing sound effects),lagged frame rates(takes a few secs before starting a battle),armor and weapons issues(all DLC items go missing,and non-DLC weapon like Golden Bow vanishes into thin air as well)and skills and abilities issues on Oghren(I remembered I maxed out his battle tactic slots,but when he returns at Vigil's Keep,all the skills gone,as well as his talents too.During last game play on Origins,the "old' Oghren has leaned all the berserker 's maneuvers and all Two-handed moves,but in Awakening,he lost all the talents...Why is that?!)

It only imports your character and not Oghren.

After importing My lv25 warrior Awakening, and buying the specialization Manuals in Amaranthine everytime I try to re-spec any Char all the new specializations appear as locked. Has anyone else had this problem?

No monster comes up for my most powerful kill =(

Also, a weird glitch when the First is being sacrificed- well he had no head, yet still was speaking...sort od ruined the scene..

Its so funny to me that with all of these reported bugs, the only thing BioWare has commented on is stealing!

They have to confirm the bugs before commenting, and later they must do a RCA, then develop a solution, test solution etc... before a fix can be confirmed

Usually the people working on the development don't have time to read the boards, that's what a community manager is for :) but IDK if BW has one?

I had the character in the keep mention Alistair too even though he was dead in mine.



Also, I get pretty bad framerate drops right when battles start. It seems to stop for a couple seconds before moving on. Seems much worse than anything in Origins.



Also random battles on the map seem to never have a map for them, and the map in the corner is completely black with just the cone of sight and another bit of white on it.

Anyone else having approvals and disapproval's from party members that aren't in your current group?

Like for example, when I help the orphan's in Amaranthine, I usually get disapproval from Nate even if I remove him from the group.

Is this a bug?

Here's the bugs I have noticed in Awakening;

Sound effects cutting out e.g. weapons, doors opening, footsteps. They will return a few minutes later.
Occasional corpses sparkling but can't be selected for looting
Poor frame rate/stutter in some areas
A few bugged quests and quest markers

General DAO bugs;

Checking save data on boot takes anywhere from 2 seconds to 5 minutes
Intermittant poor frame rate/stutter
Corpse loot sparkles can take along time to appear
Dex bug on daggers/bows
Missing dialogue occasionally
Quest completion in RTO failed in one playthrough

I don't think this is a bug.  I think it is a change the devs made for Awakening.
