I can confirm blank codex entries (for imported character), Sigrun and Velanna's quest I don't know how to trigger so I can't tell, approval bug with Sigrun is here and blight orphans epilogue won't show if you completed all their quests.

I'm not sure why this bug is there, but I'm almost positive that it has something to do with the trouble triggering Velanna's quest. I believe that it blocks the encounter by basically telling the game that you already met the requirements to be able to achieve max approval, but at the same time it does not trigger the epilogues and such that should come from being on friendly status with her.
I really hope Bioware can patch this, because it's really annoying.

I bought the Awakening DLC off PSN and I have tried many times to install but, everytime I do the PS3 doesn't register that it has been installed!
Does anyone have any suggestions? (I live in the European region btw)

1. Sentinel Armour set appearance bug (with Warden's Keep DLC installed and the Awakening expansion pack, the Sentinel armour set appears as the Warden Commander set from Warden's Keep.)
2. Vigilance Sword appearance bug (same as above - appears as Starfang from Warden's Keep (DLC)
3. When completing the 3 main quests, the last NPC character discovered that has a follow up "Joining Ritual" quest, the quest can not be completed. The End Game is forced when speaking to Varel in the Vigil's Keep Throne Room, the option to proceed with The Joining for Velanna or Sigrun should appear, but does not, instead you are forced to speak with the nobles which triggers the Siege of Vigil's Keep Quest, and there is no going back to complete the joing ritual. The only way around this is to do the Blackmarsh quest last, since Justice does not require a joining. But this is not the preferred order, since the above mentioned Sentinel Armour Set is acquired from The Blackmarsh, it is often preferable to complete Blackmarsh first to the get the most use out of this Armour set.
These to me are the 3 most serious bugs which affect the enjoyment of Awakening. But 12 months have passed without a fix, I know you're busy developing Dragon Age II, but don't forget where it all began, and the success of Dragon Age II will no doubt hinge on the ability to deliver a quality experience to those of us that have enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins and DLC, but have been disappointed by the Quality Control that has been implemented by Bioware.
A response would be appreciated,
Thanks.

I think on the Sentinel Armor and Vigilance it was speculated that they can't patch it on the XBOX as it would exceed the size Microsoft allows. Some XBOX's don't have hard drives and have a memory size limit for patches. It was also speculated that they have a contract that requires them to patch PS3 and XBOX equally. So they can't patch this on PS3, because XBOX's without a hard drive can't handle the patch.
I do not know if this is true or not? This bug REALLY annoys me, and I wish they would patch it for PS3 at least.
I also wish they would make the Collector editions items and other DLC from pre-order functional in Awakening as well....

You can play awakening to completion fine without issue. But if you are bothered by the cosmetic issues with the Sentinel Armour and Vigilance sword, then:
- Uninstall all Dragon Age game data
- Reinstall all except Warden's Keep
- Do this BEFORE importing a character from Origins.
You can get the Ultimate Edition for under £20, I paid £17 on Amazon.
Good Gaming

Sorry can't be much help to you, my copy of Awakening is on the Ultimate Edition disc and installs fine.
The only thing I would suggest is deleting the game data and re-downloading the Awakening Pack from PSN store, and reinstalling the game data plus awakening.
If that doesn't correct the issue, try EA technical support here: support.ea.com/app/home/showhome/true
Good luck

I know i may not touch Origins & Awakening for a while after this, so its not a HUGE deal. but im playing along, reliving the story after a few months off the game. back into it. Origins was the same wonderful story i remember. the DLC tied in nicely and gave me some nice little bonuses. (Alistar in the Kings Armor & Me in the Commanders armor just feels so right) and as i come along to Awakening. enjoying that Story as well. everything is fine and dandy. work hard to get my Sword and armor and.... its still this ugly crap? 12 months later and its STILL broken? in the 3 seconds it took wade to make my Sword i went from "lets get as much out of this story as we can!" to "lets just hurry up and get this over with..."

Its ashame, I Keep kicking myself for not reading the forums before buying: but I enjoyed Mass Effect so much I assumed (thats right never assume) that anything bioware would currently be working on would be of similar quality. Dam if it was just half as good as Mass Effect 1&2 I'd be in my happy game place.
