Hey guys, I have this problem that the game will crash when saving. It doesn't matter if it is an auto save or manual save. The only way that I can play certain areas of the game is to turn the sound off (disable it) on the control panel. I have had this issue with the orginal, where it would crash at certain areas unless I turned the sound off. Its not that my sound card is using old drivers. I am using a Realtek HD Audio output and this is next to the driver: RtkHDAud.sys [5.10.0.5995] (no idea what part of that is the driver version). The funny thing is that this is the ONLY game that gives me trouble (DAO and DAO:A). Does anyone know how to fix this so I can play with sound?

you can go here for the latest drivers if you haven`t updated hd drivers it is a two step process first uninstall drivers , reboot computer , install new drivers and reboot www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx

Anyone else have any ideas about this? I don't think a patch will ever fix it for me seeing as it has been like this since DAO's release.
