From what I can recall from my tries, DAUpdater will crash if the manifest xdoc contains two AddInItem nodes sharing the same UID.

However, it's fairly possible to include several AddInItem elements with distinct UIDs, hence several folders in the dazip /Contents/addins folder. I suspect that's what Bioware did with Leliana's or the Chronicles and their "3-in-1" installations, but don't quote me on this... In any case, that's what I do and it does work like a charm with DAUpdater. I had, however, reports of DAO-Modmanager getting confused when presented with this kind of handmade dazip.
