(Space reserved) as I'm typing it up.

-The remaining darkspawn flee back into the deeproads after mother's death

-The Architect keeps his word and flees, Grey Wardens in other nations are appalled he's still alive. No one is able to track him down. The deep roads are strangely quiet (I let him live)

-My saving of Amaranthine brought in donations from other nations to Ferelden. Amaranthine was rebuilt in a year, Vigil's keep in 5.

-Constable Aidan was able to distibute smuggled goods to the city of Amaranthine.

-The darkspawn messenger (I let him live and join me) sets out on his own and there are rumors that a mysterious cloaked figure is around helping travelers in danger yet at the same time there are stories of the darkspawn disease being spread.

-The war devastated the farmlands, but they survived.

-Some random Dirk guy survives and has children

-Vigil's keep stood alone against the mother's forces but the sturdy new dwarven walls were impenetrable. (I did the quest and paid money for the walls)

-Peace allowed the wardens to replenish and build a strong warden army.

-Through taxes and levies, the vigil was rebuilt. Years later Voldrik Glavonak stood on the battlements and declared it acceptable.

-Dark whispers of a conspiracy against the warden commander fell silent, and Bann esmerelle commited suicide.

-Random sheepherder dude forms an order of knights that lasts a thousand years.

-Dwvorken Glavonak leaves behind plans for his explosives and for people to follow in his footsteps. (like they were that good anyway)

-The vigil's soldiers that wore the silverite amor crafted by master wade became elite "Silver order" soldiers.

-Kal'Hirol was emptied of darkspawn, linked to orzammar via the deeproads and the casteless warriors were honored.

-People started going back to the blackmarsh and a few people who attempted to live in the witch's mansion mysteriously died. It got taken down.

-Anders stayed with the Grey wardens to train new mages for a few years but left when he was called to circle tower to give a lecture on the Architect.  No longer a warden, he was declared an apostate and was never found, but rumor that he joined a female merchant captain of a ship (Isabella? xD)

-Nathaniel stays with the wardens for a few years and realizes the life is not for him.. he leaves and has a nephew who eventually becomes a warden and redeems the howes.

-Justice leaves the wardens and wanders around. He eventually shows up at Kristoff's wife's doorstep and drops dead as he redeemed himself.

-Sigrun led the defense of Vigil's keep. No info on what happened to her.

-Oghren passed out for 2 weeks and wakes up to find out he's a hero. His relationship with felsi becomes strained but he doesn't really care.

-The blight is truly over, and the darkspawn are no longer a real concern. My character resigns as Warden commander, moves on; eventually "vanishing enitrely" with no one knowing why he left.

What a **** ending lol.

Here's mine, somewhat paraphrased and rather lengthy:

If the Architect and the Mother both die, remianing darkspawn flee back into the Deep Roads. The raids and Amarathine suddenly end.
The Architects disciples most likely return to the Deep Roads with their brethren, but show no apparent signs of wanting to hurt the Warden.
The Deep Roads remains plagued with darkspawn.

Words of the Warden's defence of Amaranthine, culminating in its salvation, spread throughout Ferelden. As Vigil Keep was nearly decimated, donations roll in from all over the land. Anmaranthine is restored in a year, the Keep in five.

If the Warden aids the constable in Amaranthine, the smugglers good are distributed amoungst the needy after the attacks.

If the Warden chooses to temporarily recruit the Architect's Disciple and set him free (or give the option to the Constable, which apparently culminates in the same thing), he will leave on his own, aiding travelers in danger. Sadly, he may also be the inadvertant cause of isolated cases of darkspawn disease that seems to pop up.

If the Warden chooses to spread their forces out in an attempt to guard everyone:
* Many farms will be lost, but it is known that the loss would have been even worse without the support from the Wardens. The farmholders will come to develop a certain reverence for the Wardens, as well as reliance.

If the Warden partakes in at least some of the Blight Orphans charity, a fellow name Dirk who survives the attack of Amaranthine is moved by their unknown donors generoristy (as it was a scam) and goes on to establish a real charity for the children orphaned in the attack. He will have two children with his sweetheart, Melisse.

If the Warden chooses to aid Amaranthine instead of Vigil's Keep:
The mother's forces will outnumber them many times over. If the Warden gets granite for the Mason, the walls will prove impervious, with the attacks eventually breaking upon the walls after over a week. There will be a mention of what the soldier's were clad in {e.g. The Vigil's soldiers, clad in silverite].

The Vigil will eventually become a trading hub (probably due to the Warden getting at least two merchants to come to the Keep), which causes problems between the merchants and the nobles- and headaches from commander's for years to come.

The Wardens will be able to replenish their numbers.

The Vigil will be rebuilt through taxes and levies. (this may be a contradiction from the Amaranthine card, or a supplement). Eventually Voldrik would declare the defences acceptable.

The conspiracy against the Wardens will fall silent after accidents and disappearancces ultimately culminate in the apparent suicide of Bann Esmerelle, with the nobles remaining dutiful. There are suggestions that they were cowed into submission.

If the Warden spares Alec and orders him to join the Army, who will found an order of knights that will hast a 1000 years, wearing the distinctive silverite armour Wade crafts. They become the Silver Order, a memory and honour of the Warden.

Kal'Hirol is emptied, and eventually Orzammar will send forces in to reclaim it, though at the cost of many Dwarven lives.

Blackmarsh will eventually be resettled, although the Veil remains thin and the area dangerous. The baroness's mansion is occupied twice, but both people disappear, leading to the manion to be destroyed and the site undisturbed.

Anders survives the siege and saves many for holding back the darkspawn line wit  his magic. The men drag him to a drinking contest, which he loses.

Anders may stay on for a few years, but when called to the tower to deliver a lecture on the Architect, he will tell the Warden that his time with them is over. He will be captured again, escape, captured one last time and then escape forever.

Velenna may be crushed by stone during the assault on Vigil's Keep, but her body is never found.

Nathaniel may decide that life as a Warden is not for him, and leave to seek his fortune after saying goodbye to his siter and nephew. His nephew will eventually become a Warden himself, rising to the rank of Commander and bringing honour to the Howe name once again.

Justice may return to the Keep and then abandon Kristoff's body. Whether Justice itself is dead is unknown.

Sigrun may become depressed after the defeat of the Mother. She will leave abruptly, and a recruit will inform them that she has left for her Calling.

Oghren may rally a last minute defence in the Keep, taking on two ogres alone and at the same time to allow the others to regain the courtyard. He will pass out and wake up weeks later, finding out that he's been declared a hero. He will stay on with the Wardens. Felsi may show up a few times, until Oghren's inability to be serious will make her snap and she will eventually stop coming. It is unknown whether Oghren misses her or their child together.

The Warden may not stay on for very long as the Commander. With the Blight ended and the darkspawn threat over, it will be time for them to move on.

If the Warden was in an active romance with Alistair at the end of Origins and partook in the dark ritual, she may return to Alistair, her true love's side. Accounts vary as to what they do: she and Alistair may live a life far away from both Ferelden and the royal court. She may continue to serve the Wardens in a different capacity with Alistair, as they are rumoured to often be seen in the royal palace. After a number of years, neither are seen again. It is unknown whether they are on a mission for the Wardens, have left for their own adventures, or simply disappeared. It is assumed that their tale is far from over.

only differences I got was that Ander's actually left for the Circle of Magi then returned to the Warden's. My main character who was male and not with Allistar joined him in Denerimn where it was rumored I was the power behind the the throne. Also Valienna lived stayed the order for awhile but one day left back for the forrest. Never found her clan again. Dalish Elves and humans seem to get along for awhile till a human raped a dalish child (really dragon age do we need rape?). While the Dalish didn't get vengance right away its known that they're planning it.

I'm really curious about which part of the expansion determines what happens to the Grey warden in the epilogue. I've talked to a friend and judging by this thread, I'm the only one who got a sh.itty ending lol.

Here is my quick version since I didnt write it all down when I finished it, Saved the city of amaranthine Ogrehn dies, justice dies, and anders dies, the vigil is destroyed. sigrun stops talking, valenna disappears, and nathan saves fergus and then somehow he dies, so basically my short story is that almost everyone died.

I had a couple differences...

- I helped the Architect. He kept his word and dissappear.

- I took Ander to battle. He stayed with wardens for a few years and much to the dismay of the templars called to the circle of magi on a lecture about Architect. He left the Wardens and was captured and escaped for the 9th time.

- I took Valenna to battle, She lived stayed the order for awhile but one day dissappeared. It was rumored she venture into the deeproad to look for her sister.

- I took Justice to battle. In the keep a solder asked Justice, what was amis. Justice reply something like "I'm done" and slumped over. It was not known if the spirit is alive or dead.

- I left Sigrun at the keep, She lead the charge into the darkspawn with an army behiund her, she did not flee

- I left Oghren at the keep. Fought two Ogre, woke to find himself a hero and stayed with the wardens. Felsi came and visit... blah blah blah

-I left Nathaniel at the keep. He lead the ferious defense of his home, after the batle was lifted up my his fellow soldier in celebration. He stayed for abit and decide he wasnt for him and left to make his fortune to the west.

- I made Alec join the army as punishment. Among the many legends that the vigil spawn. One of the great heroes of the next age, sheepherder turned solder by the name of Ser Alec the Valiant, who eventually founded an order of knights that lasted a thousand years.

- For the Waren Commander (morrigan LI ). Some claimed the commander headed west to Orlais, chasing after the dark-haired sorceress who had fought alongside him during the Blight. Whether he found her or not, he certainly did not return to Vigils Keep.

I have a question, though it's been a while since I beat origins and may not remember correctly. Does the Warden keep disappearing in the epilogues? I thought it said that in Origins and now Awakening, too. I guess that I'm clinging to the hope that my character might be able to come back in DA 2, as well as the others. And it may be more wishful thinking on my part that it seemed that Alistair was really, and I mean really, hinting that he would fight with you again in the future. Probably just me though.

I disappeared without him in my epilogue since he was King and we were married. I sided with the Architect, Sigrun went to her calling, Valenna might have gotten crushed by boulders or something, Anders stayed, Oghren stayed in contact with Felsi and the baby and remained a Warden, Nathaniel was a hero, his nephew became commander in my place, I don't remember what happened to Justice, everyone respected the Wardens given time and I dont remember the rest.

I've just done the second playthrough (with the same character, three cheers for being able to import a character more than once). Some differences I had were saving the Keep instead of the city and siding with the Architect, and getting approval rates up for everyone but Sigrun. If something seems like it's missing, it's because it hasn't varied from my first post.

After the mother dies, the darkspawn flee into the Deep Roads. Attacks on Amaranthine come to an end.

If the Warden sides with the Architect, he will take his disciples back underground. Other Wardens from other countries will be appalled by his existence but unable to track him,

Some Wardens believe that the survival of the Architect guarentees another Blight. Others note that the Deep Roads are much quieter than any time. Most believe that it is in the Maker's Hands.

The destruction of Amaranthine causes a small contingent to swear revenge against the Wardens, although most are unhappy to begin with.

If the PC is a mage, they will claim they are a maleficar or possibly even an abomination.

Less than a year afterwards, a mob shows up at the Keep. Most of the group are spared but public opinion against the Wardens worsens until they choose to help rebuild Amaranthine.

If the Warden chooses to save the Keep, it will be considered a crucial victory. Recruits sometimes spend time studying accounts of the battle to understand the Warden's tactics.

Peace allows the Wardens to rebuild their numbers.

Velenna will leave the region, and with the Architect gone as well, Pilgrim's Path will see travels again. Because of Velenna's actions, however, there are hostilities between neighbouring settlements and any Dalish clans who are nearby.

A human villager will kidnap a Dalish child and murder them. The Dalish tgive the Wending Wood a wide berth for a time, but both sides know they will return for revenge.

Anders will leave for a short period of time, but return to the Order, if his approval is high enough.

If Velenna's approval is high enough, she will never see her clan again, but remain with the Wardens. She will even single-handedly defeat a darkspawn invasion without 'sneering once' at the humans. She will eventually go into the Deep Roads to look for her sister, disappearing forever.

If Nathaniel's approval is high enough,  he will dedicate himself to the Order. He will save Teryn Cousland from an attack and regain a portion of Amaranthine. He will pass the holding to his nephew and a statue of him will be placed there.

If Justice's approval is high enough and you have completed his personal quest, he will leave the Wardens afterwards in search of other injustices to rectify. Years later, he will appear on Kristoff's wife's doorstep, smile at her, and drop dead. Whether his spirit died also remains to be seen.

If Oghren's approval is high enough (and his personal quest completed), he will take a more active part of his child's life, writing letter that the Warden Commander will proofread for him,

I read it quite differently. I don't think the PC had it in them to run an Arling and Alistair... I have the feeling he was at Weisshaupt and with what Riordan said about the Anderfel Wardens, he would not have liked what he'd seen. They're very different than most Wardens (consider their reactions to Riordan trying to recruit Loghain, if you chose not to spare him) since they've been out on their own. I got the feeling that they vanished because they wanted to- they certainly have enough practise at laying low if they want to.

-The remaining darkspawn flee back into the deeproads after mother's death

-The Architect is dead and his followers flee back to the deeproads and are not heard from again. They harbor no resentment or ill will that their Father was killed.

-My saving of Amaranthine brought in generous donations from other nations to Ferelden. Amaranthine was rebuilt in a year, Vigil's keep in 5.

-Constable Aidan was able to distibute smuggled goods to the city of Amaranthine in the aftermath of the attack.

-The darkspawn messenger (I let him live and join me) sets out on his own and there are rumors that a mysterious cloaked figure is around helping travelers in danger yet at the same time there are stories of the darkspawn disease being spread.

- Dirk (the guy behind the orphan money scam in the Inn) survives the siege of Amaranthine and feels guilty and starts a legitimate charity, eventually having children of his own

-Vigil's keep stood alone against the mother's forces but the sturdy new dwarven walls were impenetrable. (I did the quest and paid money for the walls)

-Peace allowed the wardens to replenish and build a strong warden army. Trade flourished.

-Through taxes and levies, the vigil was rebuilt. Years later Voldrik Glavonak stood on the battlements and declared it acceptable even by Dwarven standards.

-Dark whispers of a conspiracy against the warden commander continued, Bann esmerelle's death was seen as highly suspicious.

- Alec the impoverished sheepherder who was conscripted into the army as punishment for stealing becomes Ser Alec the Valiant and forms an order of knights that lasts a thousand years.

-Dwvorken Glavonak leaves behind plans for his explosives and for people to follow in his footsteps. (like they were that good anyway)

-The vigil's soldiers that wore the silverite amor crafted by master wade became elite "Silver order" soldiers.

-Kal'Hirol was emptied of darkspawn, linked to orzammar via the deeproads.

-People started going back to the blackmarsh and a few people who attempted to live in the witch's mansion mysteriously died. It got taken down.

-Anders was hailed as a hero by the few survivors of Vigil's Keep by using his magic to keep hundreds of darkspawn at bay. He was invited by the men to engage in a drinking contest. He lost.  He stayed with the Grey wardens to train new mages for a few years but left when he was called to circle tower to give a lecture on the Architect. He eventually returned to the grey wardens and picked up where he left off.

-Nathaniel stays with the wardens for a few years and realizes the life is not for him.. he leaves and has a nephew who eventually becomes a warden and redeems the howes.

-Justice leaves the wardens and wanders around. Eventually drops dead. (was unable to find the wife)

-Sigrun became depressed after killing the Mother and fulfilling her purpose and eventually disappeared. She was believed to have felt The Calling and went to die with honor in the deep roads.

-Oghren passed out for 2 weeks and wakes up to find out he's a hero. His relationship with felsi becomes strained but he doesn't really care.

- Velanna was seemingly crushed by falling rocks at the siege of Vigil's keep. No body was found.

- My character stays on as Warden commander, eventually recalled to Weisshaupt by the First Warden - rumor has it that preparations for the next Blight have begun.

Alright, lets see what I can remember.

- Saved Amaranthine
- Smuggler supplies used for Amaranthine
- Vigil's keep had been fully upgraded so it held for over a week
- Sigrin led the charge against the darkspawn at Vigil's Keep, did not flee
- Oghren took on two Ogres before passing out from bloodloss, woke up a hero 2 weeks later
- Anders held off hundreds of darkspawn at Vigil's Keep and trained some new Warden Mages, he later left to join up with a merchant ship
- Valenna stayed with the Wardens but was pissed at my PC for killing the Architect and not finder her sister, in a few years she had changed her mind about humans and even saved a village of humans singlehandedly against some darkspawn
- Justice left Kristoff's body not long after the battle, it is unknown if the spirit is still alive
- Farmlands were largely saved due to soldier presence
- Something about humans pissing off Dalish (may have had something to due with the rape an earlier post mentioned, don't remember) both sides knew Dalish would respond in time
- Fal'Hirol retaken by dwarves at great loss
- Silver Order started
- My PC left for Orlais to look for Morrigan (romanced her in Origins)

A major difference in my epilogue was that i let Amaranthine burn, and the wardens were rather hated for it in the coming years, and since the warden was an elf, common tards whispered about the elve's plans of revenge (of which Amaranthine was part of).

YES!  This means that at least the romances are not just left hanging.  Great.  Can't wait to finish and see what mine ends up with.

With regards to the Darkspawn messenger (if you let him live), I don't think he's the one causing disease back in Amaranthine. It's more likely the caged dude you save in Kal'hirol. The game seems to imply rather strongly that he may have some kind of disease (I permitted him to return to Amaranthine. Argh. My bad.)

I too let the Architect live though I lost goodwill with most of my companions. Felt his words seemed true and logical with regards to the "big picture" (stop the blight for good) and my companions were simply being biased. It may also be coz I play a True Neutral character in D&D that I don't see everything in pure B&W...

Just wondering if there would be a darkspawn companion in the next expansion? That would be awesome... ;)

I saved the city, and killed both Architects (sure blights might end, but do we REALLY want thinking, strategising, intelligent darkspawn??) and the mother (because, well EWWWW).

Vigil fell after a week. Justice was beheaded, Velanna vanished from under a pile of rubble, Ohgren survived after taking two ogres out. Anders went to the circle, but returned, Nathaniel stayed, and saved a cousland, Sigrun went to her calling.

My warrior had Vigilance from wade, and it was stolen by the crows, and searched for by many for years to come. She ended up in Antiva with Zevra either having a major showdown with, or taking over the crows.

Also had the hero shepherd, the redeemed scammer orfans. Pretty good ending all around I think. But it came too fast, and theres no post game save to import to anything in the future.

My main character disappeared to either kill Zevran or take over the crows/go on adventures with him (I felt that was sloppy; I got Zev to the 90's in Origins, I don't think I'd necessarily want to kill him).

That was weird since I romanced Morrigan and told Alistair I'd stick around and help him as well. I wonder what the game "remembers" as far as my Origin's choices go. It just seems random at this point.

Any word on what the NEXT expansion will bring? I must have missed something because everyone keeps on talking about DA2 instead of a 2nd expansion when it took just 3 months for Bioware to come out with an expansion; you'd think they'd have at least another in the works. At the very least, you should be able to go after Morrigan or adventure with Sten or something.

Killed both the Architect and Mother.
Saved the City.
Supplies distrubuted by Aidan.
Darkspawn messenger goes off on his own and there are rumors of a mysterious cloaked figure is helping travelers in danger.
Some mention of a darkspawn disease.
Sheep boy becomes a Knight that lasts for a century or so.
Vigil's Keep lasted for a week or so - is eventually rebuilt.
Anders left (boo) then returned to the Wardens. (whoohoo - cause you have to love Sir Pouncealot!)
Sigrin left in the middle of the night to the Deep Roads. (early retirement I guess)
Oghren kicked some butt and was knocked out for 2 weeks and awoke as a hero. He slowly loses contact with wife and child and it doesn't seem to affect him.
A wall fell on Valenna and she was gone. (Thank the Maker - I hope she stays gone)
Nathaniel saved a Cousland, redeemed his family named, and recieved land which he gave to his nephew. Howe statue was put up.
Justice was beheaded.
People started to return to the Marsh - Baroness' mansion occupied by 2 different owners that died mysteriously - eventually the mansion was levelled.
The Silver Order was created.
Warden Commander left the area and returned to a grinning Alistair, resumed court life as Queen. Then it says something about them disappearing and no one is sure where they went - however her story if far from over.

That's about it - was rather pleased with the outcome.

-The remaining Darkspawn flee to the Deep Roads after the Mother's death.
-The Architect keeps his word and flees, Grey Wardens in other nations are appalled he's still alive. No one is able to track him down. The deep roads are strangely quiet
-My saving of Amaranthine brought in donations from other nations to Ferelden. Amaranthine was rebuilt in a year, Vigil's keep in 5.

-Constable Aidan was able to distibute smuggled goods to the city of Amaranthine.
-The darkspawn messenger (I had him fight with me and chose "Do with him as you wish" after the battle) sets out on his own  and there are rumors that a mysterious cloaked figure is around helping
travelers in danger yet at the same time there are stories of the darkspawn disease being spread.
-The war devastated the farmlands, but they survived.
-Some random Dirk guy survives and has children - NOTE: I did absolutely nothing in regards to this quest and it was still mentioned on PS3

-Vigil's keep stood alone against the mother's forces but the sturdy new dwarven walls were impenetrable.
The nobles are rumored to have been cowed.

-Alec formed his knights that lasted for 1000 years.
-Dwvorken Glavonak leaves behind plans for his explosives and for people to follow in his
footsteps. He leaves after a Qunari assassination attempt.
-The vigil's soldiers that wore the silverite amor crafted by master wade became
elite "Silver order".
-Kal'Hirol was emptied of darkspawn, linked to orzammar via the deeproads and the casteless
warriors were honored.
-People started going back to the blackmarsh and a few people who attempted to live in the witch's mansion
mysteriously died. It got taken down.

-Anders stayed with the Grey wardens to train new mages for a few years but left when he was
called to circle tower to give a lecture on the Architect.  Despite claiming he was no longer a Grey Warden, he returned to the Vigil a couple of months later and remained with the Wardens from then on.

-Nathaniel went with me to battle the Mother and, after more deeds with the Wardens, land is returned to the Howes.  When a castle is rebuilt, it has a statue of Nathaniel in the courtyard.

-Justice was beheaded in battle at Vigil's Keep. Unknown what happened to the spirit, but the wife gets her husband's ashes.

-Sigrun went with me and disapproved of letting the Architect live, voicing her fears when it's revealed he was responsible for the last Blight, basically.  She withdraws from her friends, saying less and less until she finally simply leaves, presumed to have gone to her Calling to finish what she started in Kal'Hiral.

-Oghren passed out for 2 weeks and wakes up to find out he's a hero. His relationship with felsi
becomes strained but he doesn't really care.

-Valenna went with me to fight the Mother and remained with the Wardens but eventually left. Presumably she went to the Deep Roads to continue searching for her sister.

-My Warden's sword, Vigilance, crafted from dragon bone by Wade is stolen by the Antivan Crows.  It passes ownership, with some swordsmen spending their lives searchign for it. Rumors grow that the sword has a life of its own and continues growing in power.

-The blight is truly over, and the darkspawn are no longer a real concern. My character serves as Commander for a little bit, but eventually disappears. Nobody knows where he went or what happened, but it is unlikely that his tale is over..

Reading other posts, I'm a little disappointed it didn't mention Morrigan in my ending. I romanced her in DAO, told Alistair I intended to find her, and was wearing her ring through all of Awakening.  Ah well, nobody knows where my Warden went, but I know he went looking for Morrigan and his child. :P

I just finished my second round with Awakening with my mage. Both my characters were female wardens activly involved in romance with Alistair, difference being my main (noble human rouge) married Alistair and became a queen and my mage went on adventuring with Alistair making Anora a queen. I made some different choices for each of them, like saving the vigil for one and saving the city for another and so on...but the personal epilog was quite simmilar for both of them. The only difference was that "my warden queen" vanished alone and my mage vanished with Alistair. I actually think that both my characters disapeared for the same reason (which isn't known for the moment but certenly will be clear in the future). As for the, why the queen warden disapears alone, I think it's just because someone has to stay and rule, in that case someone being Alistair. It would be really strange if both of them would just take off without a word and I'm pretty sure that though it says that no one knows where and why she vanished, Alistair knows...and probably would join if it wasn't for the kings responsibilies. With that said I don't think you need to worry about not finding your favorite warden in the next expantion. I think it's quite good opening for things to comeImage IPB

I read if he's king and you are his mistress he vanishes with you as well. I intend to find out. But it begs the question, why would his WIFE go off alone and not his mistress? *cue foreshadowing creepy music*

Oghren died in mine. My keep sucked I guess. I thought it would be like DAO core game and there would be two fights. Go back and forth. But nope.

You kill Vel, or Val whatever her name is OP? I didn't see her mentioned. Sorry if I missed it.

It shows in slides at the end of the game.
