i played the game for a view hours and then I installed the 1.01 patch and it willl not let me run the game.  
any fix for this

Yes, a solution has been posted in several threads about this very problem, but sadly more and more people are just creating new threads rather than taking a few minutes to look for a solution. This just ends up pushing the relevant threads back down where they become harder to find!
