honestly, for future da games, i'd like some more believable characters in terms of that hey have their own goals why they are actually helping me (which might be contradictory to mine) - for example a character that claims to help me against the darkspawn but only helps me because he wants to achieve something for himself that might even become a problem for me, that would make characters more believalbe then - oooh i've known you for 5 minutes, but i don't have anything better to do so im gonna join you and die even if i don't gain anything from it...

 And then some... What character do you think was weak?  I found it easy enough to believe in all of them except for Justice... he is too much of a self-contradicting enigma...  Which might be part of the reason I want Mhairi resurrected.

Morrigan is the biggest *****. She has a personality where even if she does see the folly of her ways or recognize that she said something wrong, she's too prideful and cares about how she is perceived by others to apologize or act differently. I think the most you get out of Morrigan is that she acts differently toward YOU if you befriend or romance her, she will still torture Alistair and not give two ****s about the other party members. With Velanna, it seems like you can make her see what's wrong with her ways as to actually really make her change the way she acts and thinks around everyone.

Ladies and gentlemen let me elaborate.

Velanna's ugly!

Morrigan is the hottest thing in the damn game; closely followed by lady of the forest, and lastly Lanaya.

Velanna is just dumb
Morrigan is genius and manipulative, which adds onto what makes her beautiful and desirable. Not knowing if she is trying to control you or showing her feelings are true. until you gt=et her past 89% that is then it is obvious.

Velanna needs a stab in her face
Flemmeth will make you suffer if you kill morrigan, for true spoiler reasons of course.

Morrigan has the most epic conversation in the whole series, and it isn't even with the warden.  (When you first go to the magi circle and speak with the templar knight to get in, have morrigan in your party and basically ask if there something you can do to get him to let you in.)

we not talk about Zevran we are talking about Velanna and Morrigen. Morrigen was not some circle and and the same can be said for velanna. i Just like elves and for your question sylvanaerie my pc romance Zevran.

Hehe I meant a Dalish elf I suppose, Zev had the ears but definitely not the general outlook!

I love Zev, hes one of my favorite companions (once we got past that whole "hired to kill me thing"). He's always my little buddy and I take him everywhere for the fun and profit. (He is esp good in the Dalish camp). It is there you will see just how elven he is. Plus he doesn't have that huge chip on his shoulder that Velanna has though he has TEN times the reason she does to have one.

Right, morrigan really had it better growing up ?  Tell me, how is being raised by an abomination, hunted by chantry templars and living secluded in a forest with nobody to talk to but animals not a reason for being a self serving **** ?  Not hard to see why she would make choices benefitting only her and not  anyone else since they never did anything for her but hunt her and try make her bend under their rules. 

Velanna just doesnt care. She came from a clan that taught  her right from wrong. She had people telling her that she wasnt doing the right thing, she should have known better. Not only that, but when confronted with her "mistakes" afterwards she doesnt even show remorse about what she did.

That all makes for a really big difference in morale imo, where morrigan does things and makes choices in order to survive and grow more powerfull, she is willing to learn.  Velanna seems to be driven by dark things only, blind vengeance and rage, not willing to learn from anyone else. Velanna looks like an elf but im sure its a placeholder for a rage demon.

Me and morrigan have a love hate relationship i cant stand her in my party when trying to play the good guy



But velanna is annoying to because every right decision you make they always have to contradict every goodguy choice you make jsut like morrigan mega annoying.



So i like them both the same Velanna and morrigan are both nicer at the end of the storys so i say in my oppion there the in the same boat. Both hearless and cruel but velanna does have a soft side for her sister so shes a little nicer not like that makes a massive difference.
