I wish you got 60-80 hours of character development with Velanna like you did with Morrigan, they could have done some really cool stuff with her.

If it takes you 60-80 hours to complete DA:O you are really doing something wrong. Your lucky if you get 20 hours outta the entire game. Including every last little sidequest and DLC you come across. And as far as the interrractions they take so little time, I read it, and skip to the next thing, I don't sit there and wait for the voice actor to talk it out slow as hell.



Hatred, anger, and bigotry doesn't make you a ****, lol. Maliciousness, manipulation, selfishness, and indifference do. Morrigan, is the definition and epitome of a ****. Cold, calculating, and rational. Valenna's misdirected and random rage is just the results of a whiney child who was never given proper discipline.



I don't think Valenna is a poor character at all in the slightest, I just think if I met a woman like her in person I'd probably punch her in the forehead for being stupid and hopefully it would knock some sense into her.



And Morrigan was much more of a murder than her. Her and Flemeth would lure templars and chasind into traps just to kill them, knowing they would take the bait.

Morrigan never killed innocent people like Velanna did, and wasn't racist either.  I'd back her.

Morrigan is funnier and smarter. I frequently find myself disagreeing with her, but at least she's interesting. Velanna's more on the annoying end of shrewish.

Are you sure about that? You never know unless a developer decides to say so. Flemeth certainly had her fun with slaying innocent lives.

I could have sworn she was talking about hours per week of developing the game.

And speed playing isn't fun at all, it really isn't, unless you just don't care about story. I personally have over 140 hours on my official file, but that is because half of the time I was playing was done reloading the game to try and finalize every single battle the way I desired. Messy kills and all that **** really are random.. Sucks...

I tried to like Velanna. I really really wanted to. But I just couldn't. She just seemed to be mean just for the sake of being mean. Then when it was revealed that she killed all those people for no reason she didn't even feel bad about it. It wasn't "Wow, I really made a terrible mistake" it was just "Well, how was I to know?" One of these days I really ought to kill her. I never use her anyway.

I think Velanna and Morrigan pretty much are the same type of character, basicly an evil female mage. Definitely Morrigan has the edge in terms of having a more fleshed-out character due to being part of the longer, Main part of the game, and also bonus points for being a romance option. But I think at heart they're both the same, they're evil unless you persuade them not to be, and they're evil for no good reason. I suppose Velanna has the edge in that one regard, as at least she has an explanation for being evil, because she is an elf, and as so many elves in the game do, she hates humans. Velanna also gets bonus points for having a family member she actually cares about, and goes out of her way to help/rescue/protect. But mostly, if you like one you probably like the other, and if you dislike one you'll probably dislike the other, since they're pretty much the same. I like them both fine.

morrigans alright but when those sex scene with her comes up and shes like wearing those lingerie shes looks kinda fat its like she has a dude body and a female head with big boobs lol

every time you try to do something nice for someone even if its required to move along in the storyline she constantly mocks alistair even in a random banter dialouge shale say she doesnt trust her shes basically the type that if your character was getting pulled under a door and you were screaming for help cuz whatever it was wanted to eat you shed probably just stand there looking at her nails or poking you with her staff while giggling. i mean hello her quest involves murder but thats as far as ill go. as for velanna meh i still havnt decided
