I think all Liara's fans would want to know about this one .



First time i saw this link was on another forum post ( http://social.biowar...3/index/1774020 )

So , do you guys think that any of this stuff is for real ?

He's not saying Liara is the Shadow Broker. He's saying after you kill the Shadow Broker, Liara takes over.



How'd you get to be a Commander with such poor reading comprehension?

I don't prefer any character, but I don't think some Liara fans will appreciate having the DLC spoiled right in the title.

BioWare knows that people will find all the sound files, so they could have 'planted' those Liara files on purpose. However, it does give a rough idea that Liara will eventually:

1. Ask Shepard to help eliminate the Shadow Broker

2. Kill the Shadow Broker

3. Gather all of the Shadow Broker's data

4. Become as powerful as the Shadow Broker, ruling her own information network

Since Miranda seems to have no significant part in the mission, it just further debunks the claim that her father is the Shadow Broker.

Will she be the Shadow Broker? Who knows, they have kept her alive. Perhaps they have an important role for her. She does tend to show a little bit of a dark streak imitating her mother as she is threatening someone whenever Shep first walks into her office. Her demeanor comes across to me as someone who has become a little more hardened through bad experiences during the dialog with her. Her quest for revenge indicates a certain callousness. She seems to show less emotion than she did in ME1. She came across as innocent and pure to me in ME1. To bring her along on any missions and watch her kill the enemy seemed almost out character for her. She is no longer showing that soft innocent side in ME2 though. The Shadow Broker's identity is a big mystery that hopefully will be solved in ME3. Liara hunting the Shadow Broker down indicates to me that the mystery will be unraveled with perhaps Liara right in the thick of it all.

I'm just speculating. BioWare doesn't make it difficult to extract these files. I don't think they'd want something as important as Liara killing the Shadow Broker (or identifying who the Shadow Broker actually is) to be leaked until the actual DLC came out.

It looks like that plot will be resolved before Mass Effect 3 is even released.

Since it's possible Liara becomes the Shadow Broker, I suggest people who had her as a love interest in ME1 make sure they have a version of ME2 without a love interest.

You'd hate to have a jilted Liara spreading rumors to the galaxy using her Shadow Broker connections about the size of your manhood.

You get enough male enhancement messages as it is!

I'm guessing they're waiting for the four part comic to finish before letting the Liara DLC out, as a way to market for Dark Horse.

Yeah I saw that video too and figured my personal theory on Liara eventually replacing the Shadow Broker was getting more solid ground to stand on. If that does become the case then Liara probably won't be a squadmate in ME3 but will be the replacement for the Illusive Man in giving you intel for missions and such so you would see her regularly.  Not exactly what the Liara fanboys want I think but it is something and I would think it would make people rethink on leaving Liara in ME2. I didn't mean to spoil this to anyone , The news was shocking for me i had no romance
 in Mass Effect 2 and Liara taking over the shadow broker's place that is a less chance we will have her
again on the squad or as a romance interest .

Admiral Kahoku's Data ? In Mass Effect 1 ?

I never thought it would be relevant , because as a start he owed you one and he still was going after
your body to hand it to the collectors in the first place .

This is the only logical conclusion for the current situation , maybe your choices will make you able to change
something .
But with the available audio files your conclusion is the only vaild one .

If this is what the DLC entails, then BioWare have come up with the ultimate masochism for Liara fans.

You get to pay money to play a DLC where Liara's character is further assassinated and turned into something wretched.



Liara: "Yay we found the Shadow Broker! Let's kill him!"



Shadow Broker: "Blarg I am dead."



Shepard: "Alright that's over, you got your revenge, now come with me."



Liara: "No I am the Shadow Broker now! I have power! UNLIMITED POWER! HAHAHAHA!"
