Will she be the Shadow Broker? Who knows, they have kept her alive. Perhaps they have an important role for her. She does tend to show a little bit of a dark streak imitating her mother as she is threatening someone whenever Shep first walks into her office. Her demeanor comes across to me as someone who has become a little more hardened through bad experiences during the dialog with her. Her quest for revenge indicates a certain callousness. She seems to show less emotion than she did in ME1. She came across as innocent and pure to me in ME1. To bring her along on any missions and watch her kill the enemy seemed almost out character for her. She is no longer showing that soft innocent side in ME2 though. The Shadow Broker's identity is a big mystery that hopefully will be solved in ME3. Liara hunting the Shadow Broker down indicates to me that the mystery will be unraveled with perhaps Liara right in the thick of it all.

After all what she's been through chasing the shadow broker , you're the one who is obviously coming with the facts!
Still on the top of all Commander Shepard is the best to get things done, this is what i like about Mass Effect they build the road , they give you the car but you're the one turning the wheel .
I hope they'll give us a satisfying option we're looking for when it comes to this moment .

Consequences of a information vacuum caused by the Shadow Broker's absence is more interesting than Liara turning into her replacement.

If I were Shepard, I'd say, "Cut the act, Liara."

If she didn't " CUT IT " , i hope they'll give us " Shepard " the option to .

I've wanted the option to ****-slap Liara and have her snap out of her little revenge fantasy for a while now.

Will probably never happen in ME2.

Helping her on this one is the same as helping one of your squad member , I just don't think you'll be
satisfied with the paragon choices this time .

I put it all in the title the only thing i left to the post was the link " Liara is going to be The New Shadow Broker ??
"

I don't think it can get more obvious than that

You don't understand what I meant. Don't put the spoiler IN the title. People not reading this topic can still see it.

Liara is going to be The New Shadow Broker ?? "Spoilers Alert"

...is not any better than:

Liara is going to be The New Shadow Broker ??

'Hidden audio files, possible Liara DLC? *Spoilers*' could work.

"Liara DLC"

"Shadow Broker plot"

"Liara plot"

"Liara revenge plot"

---
If I made the title of my thread:

"THE MASS RELAY IS PEOPLE!!! THEY POWER THE EEZO CORE AND ALLOW THE GALAXY TO EXPAND BEFORE THEIR SYSTEM RUNS OUT OF RESOURCES!!! *oops, spoiler alert*"

...before the release of Mass Effect 3, I'd get a lot of hateful responses from people who didn't even read the thread inside.

"We are your salvation through destruction."

i hardly think the title of the thread is a spoiler for anyone in this section of the Forums... its for people who've played the game after all... and for all we know, the DLC simply involves Liara and the Shadow Broker... which we know there is something brewing anyway, since we help to prod it along on Illium.

i don't think Liara will become the Shadow Broker, unless Shep asks her to take the position instead of one as part of the Squad. i certianly think we'll see a dead Shadow Broker at the end... but beyond that, no idea...

While I do believe a DLC will address this... perhaps even a long expansion pack... I do not believe Bioware would make her the new SB. That may be a choice for those who did not romance her in ME1, but for those who did, perhaps you can paragon her out of that decision if given the option.

If by chance Bioware does go this route in a DLC and makes her the new Sb no matter what you do, should there be one, I will not be buying ME3 I can tell you that.

Liara, innocent or not, has always loved the search for knowledge. If you recruit her late in the game in Mass Effect 1, she gets pissy that you already found out everything -- after all, she spent decades looking for the same information that you stumbled upon.

If the Shadow Broker is dead, and she has his data (which she says will take years to review), AND she already has a budding information network, then you can effectively say that Liara IS the next Shadow Broker.

That is a giant spoiler for anyone playing Mass Effect 1 or 2. Most of us were expecting the Shadow Broker plot to be resolved in Mass Effect 3, as he clearly has some kind of connection with the Reapers.

This is the spoilers forum,. why is everyone complaining about a spoiler in the title. It doesn't matter in this forum, that's why it's called the "Spoilers Forum".

considering there was Liara DLC rumors day 1 after release, it was pretty clear what it would be involving. Liara has no plotline in ME2 that isn't related to the Shadow Broker. We were aways going to get Liara DLC, considering her popularity... and the comic. what else would it be about?

Information network or not, we still don't know who or what the Shadow Broker is. his, her, their, its information network is extremely old and majorly advanced. Liara's network, as you say, is budding. its sole focus is the Shadow Broker. besides, aside from on Illium, she's not a major player.

If you don't want spoilers, why are you reading the Spoiler forum?

I couldn't care less about spoilers - I was one of the people who ran across the Liara DLC 'hints' in the first place. I'm saying that the title of this thread may be apparent to those outside the forum who don't want to be spoiled.

If the poster changed the title, he'd avoid all that trouble (and so would the moderators).

How about "Liara Dialogue Spoilers" for an alternative title? Adding *spoiler* to the end doesn't hide what's coming before it.
