i suffer from this issue as well.... i have no freaking clue how to solve this. i have retail dvd version of DAO and DAO awakening... and im getting disapointed with this.

never mind face disappearing, Justice completely disappeared on mine lol During the Queen of the Blackmarsh he ended up where i killed the Baroness lol

The Arcane Warrior Combat magic maxed is also glitched. During cutscenes, and other places too, the eye sockets are clearly visibly. This does not always happen, so it is obviously a glitch and not just terrible graphics.

I downloaded Awakenings and went to import a character... Both my mage and warrior were naked on the import screen. They happen to be wearing gear from other DLC... Loading up my warrior, I found that, indeed, the Warden Commander gear is all gone from my inventory.

As you will find on maybe 5 of these 7 pages..this has already been discussed. Wardens Keep and Stone Prisoner DLC items DO NOT import. Tho Return to Ostagar Items do.

Try skimming through the other 6 pages if you have any other problems they have probably already been discussed.

Last night I had an audio bug for this game. It was a continuation of a conversation between Oghren and Sigrun. In the conversation before this bug, Sigrun gave Oghren "medicine" for his hangover. Then in the continuation of the conversation, the bug happens. Oghren's voice turns into Microsoft Sam's voice, with him asking what has she done; and then changes back when he complains about the pain.

Sad thing by the way but I am starting to enjoy the Sentinel Armor Bug :-( Cuz I actually liked the Warden Commander Armor.
Now that I am it kinda seems fitting that the Commander would have Commander Armor. Would be nice if all Items are importable and Sentinel wasnt bugged for those who cant tolerate, but doesnt seem like Biowares going to patch anything.

You just need to run around with Sigrun and Oghren for a while and it
will happen. As for the Sentinel Armor bug, I would rather be given a choice to keep the effect or change it back.

I played a human male who romanced Morrigan and did the DR. When I fired up Awakenings on the ol' XBox, these are the problems I encountered:

1. Velena, Segrun and Ogrhen's side quests never fired.

2. Same graphical errors occured with armor and weapons (I have the keep mod thing installed)

3. Shady blood mages or whatnots roaming around muttering in the city didn't fire correctly. I had to follow them everywhere and then after about 5 minutes one turned around and was selectable to stab in the face.

4. Summoned undead froze and were unselectable towards the end of the game in the city battle which made me have to reload.

5. There was some party banter between the mage guy and elf chick that was on a loop while running around.

6. Don't know if this is a bug or what but: quest to join Segrun was not possible since the game didn't offer a chance to at the end before heading to the city.

7. The slide show at the end didn't recognize my PC's romance with Morrigan and defaulted to Zev? hahah ahhhhh............. (weeps) This may be a bug carried over from the end of DA:O (I"ve read that as a posibility)

I know this has been brought up a lot before but I thought I'd throw in too. I'm running the 1.03 patch BTW.

PS. Sorry for misspelling all the companionn's names!

Go Bioware git them bugs! :P

Just going to expand and comment on a few of these.

1. Segrun, you need to avoid Law and Order. Ogrhen you need to touch the anvil in the prison room in Kal'Hirol.  Velena, I have no idea, the random encounter didn't work on my human noble. I did see it work for elf origins though.
3. The area needs to reload. Going into a building will fix it. 
5. You know I find tattoos on women*hits Anders* We get it, you like the old bat.

Is there any fix or plan to fix the DLC usage in awakenings? If I had known I would not have bought the product. I am shocked that bioware would actually put out a substandard product.

The most disappointing bug I had was that Sigrun's post-loyalty quest conversation failed to fire. I think it might have happened because I completed both Anders' and Sigrun's quests on the same trip, then the next time I returned to the keep Anders' conversation fired, then nothing for Sigrun. Leaving and re-entering the Keep didn't trigger it.



Not a major deal from a gameplay perspective, but it was personally very disappointing because I was utterly charmed by Sigrun, and she quickly became one of my favorite characters in either game. It sucked that I had to miss out on her most important bit of character development. Does anyone know if there is a video of the conversation on YouTube or anything?

This one just happened to me.  I can't progress any further in the game because of this.  The Animated Dead is selectable, but it does not move or attack, nor is it hurtable.  Trying to go through doors is impossible, as it says you cannot do that in combat.

Looks like its time to load an older save file.  /sigh

I am experiencing the same problem. I even broke a window out of frustration..

I had the same thing today and re-loading a previous save did not help.  Here's how I worked around it:

1.  Saved after the darkspawn were killed around the first part of the merchant area.

2.  Put my party on Hold here.

3.  Moved on to the next battle in the merchant area and alley by myself.

4.  Killed'em.

5.  Ran up to the top of the steps and battled the darkspawn there.  One of the glitched "Animated Dead" remained but I went on to the next mini-battle with the ogre and his minions.  Continued on to the battle in front of the pub and forward down the steps toward the entrance gate for two more mini-battles.

6.  After all the darkspawn were killed except for the bugged Animated Dead character, I got a quest marker on the commander at the bottom section where the last mini-battle took place.

7.  Talked with the commander and he suggested holing up in the Chantry until the next day.  Accepted the suggestion and was transported there and my party, which had been on hold the whole time, were transported inside the chantry too.

8.  When you exit the Chantry, there's another mini-battle before you go into the pub.  Don't stray too far towards where the Animated Dead character was because, surprise, he's still there!   You party will engage him again and you will get stuck again.  So head into the pub as soon as possible.

Ditto.  Killed Mom twice.  No end game save (even though it says it's saving).  I didn't have this happen for quite awhile and managed to save games in Awakening, but it's back again.

Anyone have a fix for this on 360?

I read all posts in this thread and have not seen this bug mentioned yet......... If it is a bug.
I am playing on the 360. My current Warden has done the Blackmarsh, Wending Woods, and the assassination attempt. I was given 60 gold for improving trade at the keep, and used it to buy runes for the team. Made a "WHOLE BUNCH" of masterpiece silverite runes (enough to go around). When I went inside to put them on our weapons; I couldn't find them (they were not there). The runes are in my inventory, but Cera won't put them on weapons. But, for some reason she will put them on armor. Cera will put "grandmaster" silverite runes on weapons; but not "masterpiece". Haven't found the paragon tracing yet. This doesn't make any sense, because silverite runes are supposed to be weapon runes, not armor runes.

Think I will have to reload an earlier save, and see if it happens again.

Reloaded an earlier save; turns out that it''s not a bug. For some reason the devs, "IN THEIR INFINITE WISDOM", decided to make masterpiece (and I'm guessing paragon) silverite runes into armor runes.

Somebody should've told the devs that dps runes belong on weapons, not armor.

I have just finished Awakening. Cue cutscene of my char killing The Mother, then the story ending dialogue. Then back to the same cutscene, which was played 10+ times, no matter how many times I pressed Esc key it just kept looping, had to Ctrl+alt+del in the end. Plenty of other random bugs in the game.

Had the looping issue with the cut scene with char killing Mother as well. What is up with all the bugs Bio? I'm wondering if EA is turning out to be a bad thing for Bioware!

Biowares QA deaprtment is turning out to be a bad thing for Bioware, it always has been in fact.

I have experienced a good amount of the bugs mentioned in this thread, especially the Velanna quest not firing.  Best part of an hour going back and forth and saw the same random encounters over and again.

Did the entire of the silverite mine without acquiring Velanna first (I unlocked the door with a rogue).

I got duplicates of every item Oghren was wearing after importing my character (not a bad thing really, but still).

Now I understand not everything can be fixed -- in part due to MS rushed out crappy system of patching -- but they can still do better.  Not that they will bother now, as they have no more DLC to peddle.
