Where is my blood dragon armor in the expansion pack, where is shale in the expansion pack? Someone said before the game came out that the DLC would transfer to the expansion pack if the RTO stuff transferred wouldnt it make sense to have it all transfer, also what does the golem controle rod do exactly? and I am missing the boots the the trickster armor any clues?

On your way to Vigil's Keep Shale broke a leg, so you had to put she (it?) down. Unfortunately, Shale was also carrying the Blood Dragon armor for you (you know how heavy that **** is?), so you had to leave it all behind.
At least, that's a good RP reason. But none of the DLC except RTO (and the talents you get at Warden's Keep, but I hear they're bugged) carries over. No idea what the golem control rods do - I was wondering that myself.

I assume they control Golems.
They stated only RTO dlc items will transfer, other stuff wouldnt. Even then at first we were not even going to get the RTO stuff. Its not like your missing out since the stuff you get in Awkening makes you selll that old garbage anyways.

Me is bad. I totally spaced that the Warden Commander armor you get from Sophia does not transfer to Awakenings. Had a rude awakening when my game started and I was naked except for my weapons and undergarments. Just for sh*ts and giggles I decided to fight like that for a little bit in Vigils keep. Was actually quite fun to do. Then I stopped, changed my outfit in Origins and reloaded my game again. Oh and anything you want to take with you from your party chest or Origins that might of use and not worth selling take with you. I took Maric's, duncans and the wardens stash of weaons due to the fact that they have the "weaken darkspawn ability". I am thrilled that you can enchant armor in this game. I have the feeling that it will be needed from what I am understanding.

My first time, I unequipped everyone in my party and brought as many items as I could carry. Two minutes of not being able to loot anything made me go back and dump a lot of that stuff.
Now that I've been playing for a fair amount of time, I'm even more convinced that my next go will have my PC bringing only the stuff they're wearing at the moment and a few health items, and just bringing as much gold as I can accumulate (even though you still end up with a ridiculous amount of gold in this game).
