I didn't realize TIM had Elvis hair until you mentioned it. xD

Also curiously instead of two blonds around him he gets a dark hair'd lady and a redhead

Yeah, that concept doesn't look like TIM at all. xD I've seen a few concepts for different characters, and the final product is always best. It seems like the idea of TIM being a womanizer never made it into the games or books, unless I missed something.

It would indeed appear that particular trait (the womanizing bit) was cut in the end, as from what I can gather there's been little-to-no official evidence for it.
...Well, he does seem to have predominantly female assistants, true, but that could just as easily be a coincidence.

I agree with the brunette + redhead pairing as opposed to the two blondes. Too... cliche'. The Illusive Man doesn't strike me as a "Fabio" type, the picture screams this (personally.)
All in good fun though, admittedly, it is an amusing artist rendering (concept or not).
I'm certainly glad they cut out the womanizing bit. Then again, I am more for the mysterious, cold, calculating, analytical, serious, business type. Ha.
I hate to be sexist, but, one does not see many male secretaries. It gives more of a stereotypical, classic business "look".

Oh, I agree, trust me. The man is a professional; for all our sakes he should at least act like it.
As I said before- potential aside, if he did behave like a rampant womanizer, it would be... let's just say I'd have a much harder time taking him seriously.
I suppose I'll just have to wait impatiently for January to find out more about him. I still have mixed feelings about these comics; to me, the mystery was a large part of his character appeal.
On the other hand- hey, comics! : D

Yeah, I figured that was the reason.
....
But only real men become secretaries. ;3;

Anyway...a question for for fellow members. I've used the search function but came up with zilch so I thought I'd ask here. Has there been much speculation concerning TIM's identity? Just gone back to ME1 and there's this whole thing about Armistan Banes....me overthinking as usual probably, but just wondered.

Womanizer, Drinker/Smoker, Liar, lacks morals and will do anything
But also represented the best:
Strives to advance, intelligent, charismatic, and capable.
In game they really never showed TIM off very well, with the limited screen time he got. I hope the comics work better to show his charachter.

I do remember the developers mentioning something along those lines, however, I agree with Ash. I couldn't take a womanizer seriously. Put into perspective, it's a bit like James Bond. I kind of... laugh.
I've heard about the Banes thing. But, I can't remember specific discussions on his true identity as it has been months. Too many conspiracy theories. If I remember at some point, I will post a link to said discussion(s).

Subject: Bounty For Geth
Dear Illusive Man,
I am writing to officially complain about the bounty on the Geth platform I delivered to you recently. Your associate Ms. Lawson assured me that the bounty would be "substantial". The amount I received was 50,000 credits. Have you checked the prices of weapons upgrades lately? What do you expect me to do with 50,000 credits? I can buy, what, five space hamsters. That'll come in handy against the Collectors.
I guess I shouldn't be suprised. You did, after all, send me out to save the galaxy in a ship with an EMPTY GAS TANK!! Do you know how embarassing it was to flag a ship down to tow us to the nearest fueling station?!? Of course it had to be a ship full of Salarian middle school children on a field trip, all pointing and laughing at the stupid humans.
Sincerely,
Commander Shepard

Win!
Though I wonder if that bounty went down because so much credit was poured into Project Lazarus...

I think this answers an earlier question about TIM's involvement in politics, and the only real "womanizer" evidence there has been so far. Also, he seems to drink more than he smokes, at least on that day.
Really, TIM? An asari? Twice? For shame. xD Nobody tell Kai Leng about this.[/spoilers]
@OBakaSama: There's always been speculation about TIM's identity, and Banes is one of the theories. Another one was the Shadow Broker, although the reason why TIM would steal Shepard's body from himself never made sense to me. The theories that he's an AI or Reaper-controlled also seem to be quite popular. I think we'll get the answer in the January comic though.

Still a lot to catch up on in terms of novels...almost free to read stuff of interest than study for a change...
Oh, have to re-read those dossiers as well. So not even TIM escapes the allure of the Asari, huh?

As for what you say about Kai, it does sound like he's a rarity in the ME universe with regards to the Asari. A few more days before I hit the local libraries to see if they have the novels....

I'm going to have to download LotSB just for the dossiers. Sure, my ISP will get pissed at me for going over my download limit and send over a very large, angry Russian man to break my knees, but I. Don't. Care.
Now, a part of me thinks the above information is hilarious. A slightly smaller part of me is going....

Well, yeah, pretty much that. >.>
And an infinitesimally small part of me is screaming "...But did any of them kill a Thresher Maw with a trench knife? HUH? DID THEY?"
I have a feeling I'm going to have a hell of a time keeping a straight face when chatting with TIM, from now on. >.>

So everyone else is disappointed that TIM likes the asari too? At least it's not just me. I wonder if he does like the mind-melds... which is strange, because my EvilShep is trying to get over a sort of fear for them, that he wouldn't have complete control when someone else is messing around in his mind.
Ashwraith, your Shepard's a Sole Survivor? Just guessing because of the thresher maw.
