I've noticed that Anderson seems to fight with my favorites a lot... Saren and Kai Leng. xD

Ashwraith, your Shepard's a Sole Survivor? Just guessing because of the thresher maw.
Yes indeedy. MainShep... went a bit berserk on Akuze, it is true. >.>
Aforementioned trench knife is now in the possession of one Corporal Toombs, but hey, it was still her Crowning Moment of Awesome.
And if there's one thing that gets you noticed by Cerberus, it's repeatedly slamming a sharp piece of metal into the head of an alien fifty times your size.
You're not the only one who's disappointed with TIM, no.
I mean, seriously, man. An asari. The species that reads minds.
DID YOU EVEN FOR AN INSTANT THINK THIS THROUGH. ಠ_ಠ
Kai is indeed awesome. And as much as I like being a Big Damn Hero, yeah. He pretty much stole that scene.
I'm so proud. ;3;

I actually felt bad for what happened to him at the end of Retribution though.
Damn Anderson can be cold at times.
Yeah, that seemed like an unusually dickish move to me. I mean, c'mon, he's Anderson.
I can see him headbutting turians and punching irritating politicians...but this guy helped you and was leaving peacefully.
Criminy. :C

I'm still angry with the asari for flirting with and trap-romancing my Shepards. xD I can just imagine one of my FemSheps saying "Those asari are stealing our men!" if she found out about TIM.
[spoilers] I liked what Kai said to TIM after he saved him, that he only had time to choose one - save TIM, or kill Grayson, and he chose TIM.

Oh, sure, you and I would never do such a thing, but does he know that?
This is, after all, a woman who made it a point to shut down several of his projects, tear through his personnel, and in general make it seem as though she had a personal vendetta against him.
If Shep is a Sole Survivor, he may even have been right about that last point.
Plus, while Cerberus is less restrictive about who you can or can't associate with than the Alliance, there is the fact that for all intents and purposes he is Shepard's commanding officer.
Oh, for god's sake, I feel your pain in regards to the asari.
Hint: there is a difference between "I am being nice and also would like to be your friend" and "I want you. Take me here. Now." ಠ_ಠ

Agreed, the asari need a "hands off" option. xD Maybe that's why TIM hooked up with the matriarch... his conversation options looked like mine when Liara trap-romanced MaleShep, three different ways to say yes. He chose the wrong dialogue twice, and then just gave up.

Mainly I want to see what TIM is going to do, and what Anderson is going to do.
Cause really TIM is going to be trying to salvage all of Cerberus, and Anderson is... well turning into a drunk.Should be cool.

Hahahaha, I can see it now:
"AKUUUUUUZE- you know what, **** it, never mind."
As for ME3... I'm interested to see what the future brings, too. Very, very interested.
I'm also waiting impatiently for the comics to come out. I want to see how badly they assassinate the Illusive Man's character.
...
Yeah. Pessimist. Can't be helped. >.>
Also I'm wondering if we'll finally hear what his name used to be. I'm going to laugh hard if it's 'Tim'. XD

Some of the others would take more thought, but I'd find a way for TIM to live. So yeah, "Akuze! All the other stuff Cerberus did! Our morals! Paragon! Forget that." would come into play there. xD Same with Kai, if he's in ME3. (And if I found out Kai would be a romance option, I'd finish a new FemShep playthrough really fast.)
I hope TIM's name really is Tim, or his initials spell TIM. xD That would be awesome. I'm interested about ME3 too. I'm a little worried that our Shepards will be forced to not work with TIM though. I just don't like canon choices being made for my Shepards, and killing off another favorite character is not fun.

As for my own Sole Survivor... honestly, I don't think MainShep will ever really forgive the Illusive Man for Akuze. She's got... kind of a mama bear complex when it comes to her crew.
Yeah. If that mama bear had rabies. >.>
However, this is tempered by the fact that the Alliance abandoned her and the Council pretty much gave her the finger, so Cerberus is looking pretty damn friendly to her at the moment. They're a necessary evil, and she's gradually coming around to their way of thinking -hell, she even gave them the Collector base- but it's going to be a slow, painful conversion.
TIM is actually precisely the kind of person she admires: intelligent, competent, unafraid to step on toes to get the job done, driven... it's just that she's in deep, deep denial at the moment. XD
No wonder her battle cry is turning into 'Toombs is gonna kill meeeeeee'.
I too have the tendecy to attach myself to characters who die. With alarming frequency. It has, in fact, become a running gag.
Roommate: So, you like this character?
Me: Yep. :3
Roommate: Welp, they're doomed.
Me: :C
Or the frequent variation: "You like this character? ...Five bucks says they turn out to be the villain."
I will be pissed if, in Mass Effect 3, we are forced to take down Cerberus/assassinate the Illusive Man/both.
I felt a little sorry for Saren at the end of ME1, particularly with the way the final confrontation ended. I would feel one million times worse if the above scenario came to be.
It does seem, however -taking the novels into account- that we're being set up to begin the game with a clean slate. The Alliance wants to arrest you, the Council's got their fingers in their ears, Cerberus has been sucker-punched, and Anderson quit.
That's going to be... interesting.

Our poor favorite characters. D: I had just started to like Saren right before he killed himself in my first playthrough. In a way, that's not as bad as Shepard being forced to kill TIM because Shepard technically didn't kill Saren if he was already dead - Shepard just fought the possessed body. I doubt something like that would happen with TIM, or Kai if he's there too. It would be nice if Shepard could choose who to work with, building an army based on the options. At least, Shepard still seems to be working for TIM now. He's the one who gives out the missions.

My MainShep congratulates your MainShep for getting her guy. She'll continue to bother TIM about resurrecting her guy (Saren) when they're done, and he's in a good mood. xD

Perhaps Bioware will have "TIM wins all" as one of the endings, should there actually be multiple endings? Not very far fetched actually, it would be the ultimate pro-human Renegade triumph after all. Cerberus controlled Alliance, that controls the Council. Say, by unlocking the secrets of the Citadel to ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL of the relay network. If you control the relays, what you say is what goes, basically.
I have several Shepards, who would be gunning for that end result...
I wouldn't mind having an ending where TIM wins! Especially with my pro-cerberus Femshep who has a crush on him.
Also thats a decent piece of fanart.

Anyhow. I would love to be able to choose sides in ME3. There is nothing, nothing I hate more than being shanghaied into a 'well this game is all about free will but you don't really have a choice' situation. (I'm looking at yooooooou, Broken Steel. ಠ_ಠ)
I personally would want the question of allegiance to be a weighty decision, with some serious pros and cons to either side. I like having to sit down and think decisions through, rather than just going "yeah yeah sure whatever". *click*
Case in point, the Virmire mission in ME1. Somehow -to this day, I'm not sure how- I managed to go into that situation blind. I must have spent a good ten minutes with my hand hovering over the dialogue wheel in an agony of indecision.
...Am I making any sense whatsoever here? I've been on the road all day, and I'm half convinced the words in my head are all coming out as disconnected letters and syllables.
Like 'akjsdhagd'.
Of course, awful repercussions aside, if we were presented with the opportunity to pick which side to throw in with for the endgame... well. You know very well which side I'd be on.
Fingers crossed, my brothas and sistahs.

I just had a random thought that choosing between saving TIM and killing Grayson would be Kai's version of the Virmire decision. xD As I've said before, he makes good choices.

On Topic: Honestly, I doubt it will happen. However, I'm with everyone else on being able to choose who I side with in 3. I think about all the dialogue and writing that would have to happen to make that possible though, and it kind of makes my head spin. (Perhaps, that's because I'm not much of a writer myself and can't begin to imagine.)
On another note: Any other T.I.M. screenshots (or fanart) you'd like me to add to the Flickr stream, let me know.
