D'awww. c:
A flattered cosmic horror am I.

Screenshots, you say?
Well, alas, Cutscene Power to the Max has failed me with TIMShep. ;3;
Either it reverts back to RegularShep, or I just can't hit the button fast enough for a good angle.
BUT.
I did manage to snap this glorious facial expression, right after I blew the Collector base to smithereens.

I love that smirk. It is a smirk that says, "I just told myself where to shove it, lolololol."
You go, TrollTIMShep. That'll show....
...um...
....yourself. >.>

That is a nice smirk. :) And his eyes look like they have an even brighter glow.

Almost laughed out loud at the thought of TIM betraying himself. xD Poor guy. But he did send himself into a trap, so... I guess he thinks he deserves it.

I replayed some of ME2 today, so I got to watch some of TIM's scenes again. Wow, he drinks a lot. And fast. I think he was drinking when he sent my Shepard on a mission, and still drinking when she got back. It's amazing that he manages to stay sober all the time. (Drunk TIM could be funny though. I wonder what it would make him act like.)

That might ruin his image though.

In the background Kai Leng facepalms and wonders why he saved TIM in the first place.

TIM as a squadmate would be awesome. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll happen. His last combat situation before Retribution was 30 years ago, so he's not exactly at his best. And my Shepard already asked him if he wanted to come along right before the Omega-4 Relay - he said no. I forget his exact words, but from what I remember, it did sound like he almost wanted to come. He just knows that he's better off in the information business at this point. I doubt he would want to meet an anti-Cerberus Shepard face-to-face as well. Too bad he doesn't completely trust a loyal Shepard yet though. We can still hope for ME3.

And I know that drunk TIM would end badly. He would never let Shepard see him like that. He would never make an important decision like that. Who knows, maybe he's just so used to drinking by now that no amount of that bourbon he drinks can have any effect on him. It's still a hilarious mental image though. xD

A Kai Leng facepalm would be adorable. :) I'm sure my crazy collection of Shepards would have no trouble saying something to make it happen. Right after one of the FemSheps tells TIM "if Kai Leng joins my team, I'll look the other way if you want to build a Reaper."

Wasent TIM getting a small comic series or something?

Sorta like Liara?

edit: Also as much as I have issues with Cerberus and TIM this has been my desktop background since ME2 came out:

Nothing else really fits for me anymore, I just really love this one and get asked all the time what this is from.

He is. I think it's called Mass Effect: Evolution? It's coming out in January, unless they changed the date.

That screenshot and the Renegade version are both cool. That star TIM is looking at has always been red in my playthroughs so far, and there have been many suicide mission playthroughs. Unfortunately, my current MaleShep will destroy the base if he ever makes it to ME2. But my MainShep gave him the base at least seven times and I've planned out a Cerberus-loyal version of that MaleShep with the Ruthless background instead of Sole Survivor (basically how he would have been if Akuze never happened, right down to different romance choices).

Shepard enters the Normandy's comm room and pushes the "Call T.I.M." button. The lights go out as the quantum entandglement communicator buzzes and TIM's dark office materializes around Shepard. TIM sits in his chair smoking a cigarette.

Shepard: Have you got a minute to talk?

TIM: [takes a drag, puffs] Shepard, can it wait for a bit? I am in the middle of some manipulations...

Who here thinks fighting him will be a lot like fighting Wesker from Resident Evil?

Not sure about the references you guys posted (never played Resident Evil or watched the series those videos are from, except a little bit of Star Wars), but this is how a confrontation between TIM and my Shepards would go.

Anti-Cerberus Shepard: I will kill-- *ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL* Akuze? What Akuze?

Pro-Cerberus Shepard: Hey, TIM. The human controlling our characters wants to know when Kai Leng will be a squadmate. Oh, and you're awesome. So, yeah. How's the Reaper defense coming along?

This should happen in ME3. xD I've always wanted Shepard to call up TIM just to talk, even though he would probably get annoyed or have some "I'm busy, don't want to talk" line that repeats just like everyone else. Several different lines like Mordin's would be nice.

As much as I would try to, my sole survivor sheps were NOT given an excuse for Akuze, and no matter what hole Kai Leng or TIM try to cower in they will find them.

My excuse is meta-gaming. I'll come up with some crazy idea that works for their character if there's an option to save my favorites, which is where "assuming direct control" comes in. Even my super paranoid Sole Survivor had doubts after blowing up the base, thinking that the tech might have been useful and now he has no allies against the Reapers. If TIM still leaves the option open for him to rejoin Cerberus (or it turns out that he never really left), it wouldn't be out-of-character for him to work with them in ME3.

Unless Bioware just turns TIM into the baddie in part three.
Which would be lame.

Still plenty of mercs left I bet!
Honestly for every collector I may have killed 10 mercs.

I agree, making TIM betray loyal Shepards just wouldn't make sense. He would want to keep them around if they're helping the cause. The same could be true for a Shepard who destroyed the base. Sure, TIM is angry about it, but he's too smart to deny the fact that he needs Shepard to defeat the Reapers. He even says that in the game, at least to my Shepard who saves the base... but I think he says it to both. "We need each other." For now. If nothing else, TIM has to wait until the Reapers are dealt with to worry about Shepard messing up Cerberus' plans. Cerberus won't exist if the Reapers destroy/harvest them, and TIM really did sound worried about the Reapers in Retribution. Good thing he doesn't let it show.

The Reapers should be the enemy in ME3, not TIM. He should be an option for help against the Reapers - that way, anyone who wants to work with him can, and anyone who doesn't want to work with him doesn't have to. Same for the Alliance and Council. (And I still think a new squadmate choice of Kai Leng for Cerberus loyalists and Anderson for Alliance/Council loyalists would be awesome.)

Damn that is where I have a problem then.

Even my Pro-Cerberus shep would want Anderson.

Kai Leng is cool and all but lets see him do this and still be as cool:

Unfortunately, I doubt Anderson would work with Cerberus, and the same goes for Kai working with someone who betrayed Cerberus. Kai is more easy to explain because he'll do it if TIM tells him to. Anderson... maybe it could work, but only because it's Shepard and he believes that the Reapers need to be stopped. Having both on the team would be great, and save me the trouble of not choosing Kai one time so I can see Anderson as a squadmate. They could have a ME2-style loyalty confrontation. xD

I hated the Jack and Miranda one since it was so high schoolish.

The Tali and Legion one yes I can understand.

If you charm Legion later you get the single best line in ME2 evah:

Legion: There is an 86% chance, according to my readings on human humor that you expect me to respond with :"you are only human".

A confrontation between Kai Leng and Anderson should be more like Shepard breaking up an epic battle, with both Paragon and Renegade interrupts available. It would be funny to watch Shepard stop Anderson the same way Saren did when Anderson tried to attack him in Revelation (at least my Shepard bought and read the book). The only thing is, losing Kai's loyalty would only result in a call from TIM saying that he solved the problem and Kai is now loyal again. But it would be nice to hear TIM tell Shepard that it was handled well. He didn't comment on Miranda hating my MainShep for the last part of the game.

I wish I could have made TIM, make Miranda suck it up though.

Fate of the Galaxy, and she is mad that she didnt get her way? SRSLY!

It was not the first, nor last time I did this:

Honestly I dont think Kai Leng would have some slappy fight with someone over them calling him a name. Or if he did that would be OOC, same for Anderson.

If it was some uber important plot descion than yes I think it would happen.

Ok then Who should fill in for Kai Leng in game, or in movie?

It would have made more sense, in my opinion, if TIM had some sort of "deal with it" talk with unloyal Miranda, but I guess that would mess up the game mechanics if one character had an easy way out and the others didn't. (She's already the only second team leader who can survive if unloyal though, so why not?)

I did mean an important plot choice for the Kai/Anderson fight. They're both professionals. Anderson attacked Saren in Revelation over something less than that, but he was a lot younger back then. It would take something really big to make it happen now, but even Kai doesn't always completely follow TIM's orders. TIM definitely didn't tell him to threaten Aria and her bodyguards, but he did that anyway. Sometimes even the best slip up when someone really challenges what they believe in, like TIM wanting to watch Grayson suffer even though it would have made more sense to keep his distance from the Reaper tech.

No idea who would play Kai. Just as long as they look like him and the voice fits, it'll be fine.

What description does he even get?

I only read Retribution in Chapters very quickly so I may have missed that.

Kai's description is basically this - asian looks, dark hair, dark eyes, and the ouroboros tattoo on his neck. It also said his jaw (or something like that) had a Russian look to it, but I'm not quite sure what that means. His body type is the same as everyone else in the game, slim with some muscle, so that's easy for them. As long as he looks like an asian guy with that tattoo, it'll look enough like his description. If he does show up in the game, maybe he'll be modeled after someone like TIM was made to look like Martin Sheen.

So a mix of Jet Li, and Tony Jaa then.

Maybe. I'm not that familiar with different actors, so I would have no clue if he ended up looking like anyone else until someone mentioned it. I only knew that TIM looked like Martin Sheen because of the forums, and then I thought "his name sounds familiar." xD I've only seen him in one movie, but it was amazing how much his character was like TIM.
