Much like the Loyalty mission for each individual squad member, there should be new missions added to where you can upgrade each team member with a unique suit of armor (Like how Garrus, Zaeed and Grunt have theirs) everyone else, aside from casual ship clothing, should always leave the ship with armor on (Like Shepard). I feel this would be a great DLC idea, and has a lot of potential for development.

There are several merc teams and commandos you encounter throughout Mass Effect 2. I would love to suit my team up in a unique style of armor/logo to have a uniform type appearance of my team. They gave us a bunch of free armor for Shepard, don't you think the squad deserves some attention? They could implement this in any number of ways without removing anything from the game, they are simply adding more options. Options = good. just like CHOICES are.

Hope to hear everyones opinion or suggestions.

With Shepard's face in the back of everyones armor.

I support my own idea.

I...think you're saying you want your squaddies to have matching armor to your Shepard? If so, I agree with you. I would love for my squad and Shepard to roll out with matching outfits.

Also, what do you mean by a team logo? Something we create ourselves or more like a generic squad insignia? I think they'd have to run with the Cerberus thing...at least for ME2.

I was also thinking, about maybe adding a new DLC mission where you and atleast 7 (12 maximum requirement for mission, 7 being minimum) and compete in some sort of gladiator arena type of deal, and you have to complete all the rounds with your team (you and 7-12 other squadmates) and at the end of that your entire team is outfitted in special commendation set that increases everyones shields by 20% or something to that effect. Now your squad has Casual Outfits (what they wear when you first recruit them or when they're in the ship quarters) and a combat field suit for extreme enviromental conditions (like when you're on any sort of N7 or main story mission) makes sense to be able to switch armor on/off in squad selection screen.

sorry for long paragraphs and rambling but I'm letting all my ideas poor out because I just smoked a blunr 30 min ago..bear with me..also please add input. thanks.

Bronze Spectre symbol with an overlaid shepard's hook for "Shepard's Crew".

Bronze because they're not actual Spectres.  Only Shep has the right to wear that... unless your Renegade ways came back to bite you and you got denied re-induction at the beginning of ME2.

Can they have unique armor instead of matching outfits?

I've caught myself wondering why more of the characters don't wear armor. I suppose it makes a sort of sense, since all of your squad aren't soldiers in the usual sense, but I'd feel a little better about some of them in combat if they weren't strutting around in street clothes.

Since we're talking about it, what's up with everyone's exo gear? When you visit the Migrant Fleet, everyone should be suited up, but most of your team wear simple lower-face masks. Thane wears gloves and a hood, but he has that patch of chest exposed by his jacket. Don't get me started on Jack.

I agree with the "let us outfit our squad mates with armor". We were able to do that in ME1, and I liked knowing they were protected, and looked like they could kick ass!! I don't want us all to wear the same thing though, that's too childish. NO LOGO, we're not one nation's military......

But, how about if they had at least 2 other sets of armor to choose from?? AND, they shouldn't leave the Normandy in their same unprotected casual "all purpose" armor either.........

Tokion has a GREAT point, what up with Garrus' armor?? Completed loyalty mission, and all it did was change the colors on his armor, it's still chipped/cracked/broken. Like, I can't afford to get him better armor???......

As J_Sock says, "don't even get me started with Jack"....if female devs were outvoted by males, Jack's scantily clad "armor" (REALLY!) decision is barely acceptable. If female devs agreed with male choice for Jack's armor, or a female dev created it - decision is intolerable!! (it's one step up from the thong/panties of TQ for God's sake!)

Jack doesnt even look attractive in the skimpy outfit. Not to say that would justify the idea but im just trying to say that i dont undertstand why Bioware made her like that. I could tolerante her if they made some kind of armor that covered her disgusting body.

This gets my vote to. I was amazed that we couldn't also outfit our squad mates with differing armors like we did in ME1. The designers went to a lot of effort to make those up, and they looked great, but now only one of us gets to wear new armor?

I can see how Jack utter contempt for authority, convention, and the whole galaxy at large would be a reason for her to make herself look so disgusting, it's in character for her, but I think Shepard would see to it she had some good fighting gear and armored up before a battle. There is no reason either for Garrus to not immediately replace his damaged armor as soon as he could. Cerberus certainly has the resources even if Shepard didn't.

Ouch..

Don't get me wrong I don't like heavy use of tats, so I agree with you but ouch.

But yeah, not wearing armor makes me feel like my special team is using a different meaning of the word special than I had intended.

I hope they do something like that.  I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a dlc similar to that of pinnacle station from ME1, but hopefully, the armor(s) or weapon(5) are actually useful and as good or better than what is available.
On a side note, I wonder how much work actually goes into the programing to get a dlc weapons and armors to appear in all cinimatics and stuff.

Well Biowares answer to armor for squadmates is a useless appearance pack with 3 RETEXTURES of characters who still wear the same clothes.

There should be casual outfits for onboard ship, and combat hard suits when planet-side. There is nothing unreasonable about this request.
