When I imported my Human Noble into Awakening I attempted to give him some Alchohal as a gift, and it seems that it kept the "Diminishing Returns" from the approval of gifts because he never got +10 or even +7 from them, he only got +6. I know these were his because he has always been linked to Alchohal as gifts, since DA:O. This made it extremely hard to try and get up his approval to finish his quest.
