Hey guys I seriously don't know what class to go I just got this game and it looks AWESOME! I was thinking of going a shapeshifter and burning all my stat points into constitution? So I can just sit in my forms and own lol does that sound ok? Since I will have great survivability? Any other suggestions?

Depends on how you enjoy playing. Mage probably has the most options available, but the other classes are quite fun, as well.

That might be tough, I have a shape-shifter in my party and its not great. I would start with a warrior or a healer on my first play-through

I am just wondering would this go well together shapeshifting and burning ALL your stat points into constitution so you have hell high resilience and HP does that sound ok?

Sounds like you should just make a tank instead.

Has anyone out there put A LOT of points into Constitution? Does it actually help lots? Cause I am thinking nothing will be easier then sitting in bear form having like 60+ constitution and taking minimum damage
. Like I will stack constitution since shapeshifting requires 0 mana and it is permanent like the good thing is when you go through cut-scenes and stuff your still your forms ain't you? Pretty sure you are.

Im a tank my self, im balancing between str dex and constitution, for me constitution adds 5 hp per point, so its nice but i dont think maxing just that would work, because you loose damage and you loose defence from the lack of dexterity

But what else do shapeshifters need? They don't need mana or anything and I doubt strength will help them? So I was thinking that would sound pretty easy just sitting in bear and stacking constitution wouldn't that be like a massive tank?

Magic is what determines the shapeshifter stats, but I imagine high con would help a lot too, considering trying this out on my new reroll,
cutscenes do pop you out of form though

If you don't put any points in strength you won't do any damage. Since this game uses threat to determine who the enemies attack, they'll all ignore your bear and go after the squishy people that are hurting them. Warriors have talents to increase their threat and taunts to force enemies to attack them, and you won't have access to any of that.
You also can't put on any of the good tanking armor without high strength, so your armor stat is going to suck. You'll have high hitpoints, but be taking way more damage with every hit than a regular tank would.
I won't say it definitely wouldn't work though. Good luck, maybe it'll be great.

Do your characters stats even transfer over when your in animal form? Or do you just have the stats that type of creature would have?
