Right now, I'm dealing with the Nathaniel Tactic bug in which if you switch him to anything other than what he started with, it wipes out all his possible assigned duties (he starts as a Custom 1, but switch it to Archer or Scrapper and it doesn't have anything assigned to those roles. You also can't switch back to that Custom 1 tactic, because all of those assigned combat duties are now gone).
Also, there's a number of graphical issues in my game, forcing me to turn off a certain aura for Anders (talking to him produces his a weird partial "Anders Head" swirling around in sync with the aura as it pulses/swirls around).
Combat seems....odd in times. I tell my Warden to attack & he sits here going "Derp.....Derrr.....Durrr....." multiple clicks later, there he goes.

The inexcusable number of bugs aside, the game isn't bad. It is not the continuation of our previous adventures that it was billed as, and very few of my decisions in the main game have meant a thing. Several things are actually completely inconsistent with my character's choices in Origins. They wanted to tell a new story. They did. The story in Origins made it worth putting up with the myriad of unfixed bugs. This one just...didn't.

Let's not knock KotoR2 here folks. That wasn't Obsidian's fault. But I will say that KotoR2 was kinda like some great sex: Great up until the big "finish" and then it just.....ends. You're left sitting there going "Wait....what just happened? Isn't this the place in which we're all going "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAWWWW!"....right?
Completely agree about KOTOR2. Most disapointing ending I've ever seen, after a great game. But yeah, I don't entirely blame Obsidian.

In which version? The list for the Xbox is in that forum (and are even being acknowledged by BW for a change). I won't list them here as a number of them are spoilerish.

Consider it permission by bioware to pirate all their software. If this is $40 worth of software to them, I'll risk the legal fees, thanks.
anyone who is a pirate has already decided to be one.
so if your talking about it in a public area like a forum, its just a lame excuse or justification, especially in the case of a dragon age game.
i have spent 95$ for a one time play through of 100 hours AT LEAST both campaign and expansion (cause i have not beat the x-pack yet, and im assuming its at least 20 hours since im 13 in).
and i have made no less than 10 characters at an average playthrough each at 30 hours prior to awakenings.
if i had bought an MMO, i would have spent 50$ fo a box, and 45$ for 3 months and i couldnt play any more unless i kept paying.
its been a while since i made such an incredible investment in a game like the dragon age series.
its my perfect experience so of course i will say that. but for anyone who casually enjoys it, it should take you MUCH longer "real-time" to finish just one play through therefore making this a valued purchase.
cause sometimes i will buy games like uncharted 2 and i "like" them, but it will actually take me longer to beat that game than dragon age because i enjoy dragon age more. i didnt even finish uncharted, so was that game worth 60$ to me? hell no.
should anyone pirate it because i didnt enjoy it, or only got 7-8 hours of game time out of it?
hell no.
poor justification far grey behavior...

This seems actually *worse* than the risible piece of non-functional software that was KotoR2...
Bioware made us all so excited about this new expansion, and it seems it was dealt with in the most unprofessional manner - the worst of any project they have made in recent times.
The list of bugs and errors in this software is truly amazing.
Even if it ends up being a good game *later*, Bioware should be ashamed of releasing something in such a terrible state.
It certainly reduces the level of respect that any consumer or reviewer would have for them as a software developer.
Epic Fail.
Okay wait a minute..isn't that your own choice..in your own brain to be excited about something or not? hehe
If I DON'T want to be excited by something...I don't have to be.

I also enjoyed KOTOR 2 more than KOTOR 1. I liked the more brooding, dark story, and the dialog felt more mature. Obsidian is made of people who formed Black Isle, the creators of the original Fallout Series and Baldur's Gate (so many forum goers seem to forget Black Isle's role in that game.)
They're also made up of refugees from Troika, who are responsible for such gems as Arcanum and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Also, how dare you forget to add Planescape! I demand that you sew artifacts into your intestines as punishment.
I think Chris Avellone (lead writer to Planescape) also headed up Obsidian's new Alpha Protocol game, so double-yay.

There are a host of major bugs on the Xbox version, including a really fun one in which your character that originally had no tattoo now has a sign across his or her face stating that your tattoo is outdated. And yes, I do mean while you are walking around in the game. There is at least one major bug per quest line and they seem to be fairly common. They range from the lol-worthy tattoo thing to glitches that make it impossible to move the game forward. There were a host of these in DA:O, but there are now at least as many identified for DA:A and that in the first day of release.

SOoo...I gather from this that Bioware hasn't quite got the multi-platform thing down right yet. I'm a PC owner, and I think the only bug I have encountered so far in my game is the blood abilities one..sure it shows up in the skill list, you just can't use it.
Other than that...had one crash to desktop...but pretty much overall good play.
Sounds like back to the drawing board with the console expac version. Sorry your expac isn't working for you.

The DCL issue doesn’t really seem like a bug as just an inconsistancy. They told us that DLC content wouldn’t be making it into Awakening so people shouldn’t be complaining about stuff like the blood powers, but the fact that some people get items like the Helm of Honoleth and others don’t is odd.
My big complaint (not sure if it really counts as a bug) is that in Origins I did the ritual with Morrigan, but in her codex entery in Awakening it gives the line of “She left the night of the battle after the Warden refused to take part in the ritual.” Or however it goes. It could be that they just imported a generic codex entery for her since she isn’t supposed to be a part of Awakening and they will fix it for the sequal or whenever she comes back. Has this happened to anyone else?

How come I lost my DLC ability I got from the

a bug with DLC items and abilities.
The lost abilities are a bug, but the lost items aren't; Bioware didn't design the DLC items from Warden's Keep or Stone Prisoner to be able to import into the expansion. They did make the items from RtO able import, and have said they would look into fixing the others.

I agree, Bioware owes us free DLC adding back the items we had for this expansion and hopefully upgraded.

I've done the first two major quests and several of the side quests and haven't hit any major bugs except the friends thing (At one point Anders was "in love" with my PC) but now I can't get anyone to "Friend" despite doing their personal quests. Ahh well if thats all there is I have to be bugged about I will just continue playing and enjoying the game.
You have to find objects to talk to, to talk to your compansions. You can't simply walk up and talk to your companions anymore, no no they were to lazy to fix the DLC but they added a new convo system were you must search the world and find a box, or boat and then you talk to it to talk to your friends, so amazing! Darth Gaider sure got it right!

I am just starting out and I am noticing bugs.
Wardens Keep powers still have icons but there is an error with the names and they don't fully activate. At least on a rogue the animation starts but that is all.
Also the backpacks you can buy in your estate don't correctly add to your limit
The text says it will be +10 for a bag but if you buy a bag you only get +5.
If you buy both you will still only get +5.
If you only buy one bag it is still only +5 and the other will disappear from the stores inventory never to be seen again.
I am only couple hours in and I am not even trying to find bugs.
I'm assuming that your backpack still has the same max space as it did in Origins, which is 125. When you get to 120 you can keep buying backpacks but you will only ever get 125.

Yay! Someone mentioned Planescape Torment.
I just finished playing that game again recently for kicks after what was nearly 10 years.
Still a classic. Truly one of the best (if not the best) rpgs of all time. Now that was a story with one heck of an ending! Forget this 'sissty' Grey Warden stuff ... nothing like becoming a footsoldier in the Blood War
