This happened during zaeed's mission, and on the mission with the ship falling off the cliff (As far as I remember, it wasn't an explosion there, but the screen shook as the ship became more unstable. Shepard becomes stuck in mid air above the ground and can't move. using powers, etc, doesn't make him un-stuck.
