So I also bought the game Risen to try after Awakening. Figured its an actual full game and its got Fable like qualities and if its a true rpg it should have some Dragon Age like qualities. I however was terribly wrong. Played for 5 minutes and it looks and feels absolutley terrible. DO NOT BUY RISEN lol.

Risen and Awakening (or Dragon Age) have nothing in common, they're two completely different RPG's, different rulesets, different gameplay etc.
If you played and liked the Gothic series, then Risen is for you because it's what Gothic 3 should have been. If not,you can try it but don't have to like it, Gothic didn't have much success outside Europe.
Other then that, I don't see the point of discussing this any further.
