Ok say Im being too critical  I have just spent 5 hours playing Dragon Age Awakining. Hoping to piece together some sort of reason why I imported my character over to begin with. It does not matter because nothing you have in dragon age no relationships (Romance)  will work in new expansion so why did we go thru all the trouble of getting people to like you or love you. Remember Leliana in the end (Text and your love Leliana decided to journey with the person she loves.. Did she get lost on away to Vigil keep ??. No  BIOWARE once again gets cold feet about romances in game. They did pretty much the same thing in ME2  I can hardly believe they put this expansion out as such. 

  Here is a good one how is it your warden commander but got no clue when the darkspawn are near how is it 2 graywardens wiped out the blight but 400 of them cannot fight a company of darkspawn

You know your choices in Origens do carry over into Awakenings even if you dont see them. They are flagged plot hooks in your save that will carry over from your Awakening game into Dragon Age 2.

Awakening is a expansion, not a full game. People are expecting far too much from it especialy considering its only been around half a year since Origens came out.

As an expansion Awakening was no horrible it just wasn't the best thing ever. I agree with you feyrielle the transfer of a character is disappointing but it is really only for familiarity in my opinion.

My 2 cents and agreement feyrielle, they discontinue the romance opitions in the future I will not continue on with buying into this game. Romance to me adds to the overall fun and experience of the game. I will leave it at Origins, possibly Awakenings then if it is the case where no romance carries on with future games. This game was set up for adult content after all and should continue.

Furthermore twould be nice if you are able to carry over your original charchter over into future games also..Hmmm, think of that!
