All I have to do is the blackmarsh quest but I haven't finished all my other side quests yet.  I know there's a couple of things I need to do in the blackmarsh but I've read there's a timer that starts after your 3rd quest.  Will that start the minute I go into the blackmarsh or can I grab the few things I need (like the catguts) and then go back.  Where and when will the time start ticking off?

....There's a timer??? When I played I got through all three mainquests so I imagine you are okay. I spent forever in the Wending Woods, so I don't think there is a timer.

EDIT: I should add that Wending Wood was my last main quest.

I know that it doesn't start when I first walk in. In fact I'm in the fade lol. I was just wondering if there was a or when is the point of no return.

The "point of no return" will be talking to Varel after the third main quest area. And you'll know when it is, he even gives you an option of waiting when you talk to him.



So you can take that time to finish everything up.
