 I have 7/8 monuments and i can't find the last one. I think it mite be the statue near the elf camp but that one don't work. is this a bug? or am i just missing something.

Ah ha! I found the 8th statue. For me it was the one by the wooden bridge with the burning tree to the left of it, if your back is to the world map entrace you arrive from. To the immediate right of the bridge ontop of a small hill hidden behind trees is a statue. You have to pass an over turned wagon to get up the hill.

I was missing one as well, but I just found it on a hill just behind the stone puzzle (there was a blood lotus next to it). One trick to try and spot them is to stand on high hills, you can usually see the glitter from afar.

There's a really tricky one in a valley to the left of the Silverite mine entrance, behind a whole mess of trees. You can see it if you move as far to the left of the entrance as you can go and look down.

Wow TyTheTiler - that statue is absolutely brutal. He's right it's that bridge you cross before you ever go to the Dalish camp or the mines there is one hidden on top of a hill. If you are standing on that bridge you are right next to it.

I have the same problem as munchizmo. I am standing in Dalish camp, but 8th statue is inactive and I am unable to use it. Does anybody else have the same problem?

The statue in the Dalish camp is not part of the quest, so the one you're missing is somewhere else.

Edit: Sorry, I was thinking of the statue behind the shallow graves. But there's a second one there, so disregard what I said.

Bugged for me too, I can't use the statue in the Dalish camp

Seems like I can't use the one at the dalish camp because I've already battled the wolfs and such Velanna threw at me.. Pisses me off! Now I can't complete the quest!
