We still don't know what prompted the Exalted March really. An it doesn't matter, cause Templars aren't a regular army. They police mages, they don't fight in large wars unless they have to.DaerogTheDhampir wrote...
Ya, but it's not just the mages in the Dalish. It's also the fact that the Chantry really, really wants to convert them, and the Dalish were punished for worshiping their Pantheon when they had the Dales. So, it's more like an Exalted March against all the Dalish in this war game than a mage hunt.
Still, that time is long past. There's no mention in any source s ofar or templars chasing after and killing Daelish, so for all intents or purposes, they don't unless proven otherwise.
Templars are specialized to fight mages...against non-mages they really shouldn't get an attack bonus, and 99% of a dalish force would be non-mages.

Totally, they won't be seeing much of the party, but the darkspawn sure will.
Oh no, somebody got the Brood Mother drunk, everyone run for your sanity's sake! She's dancing!

My guess is that they simply aren't taken there because it would be suicidal to send templar squads into the woods, demanding for childs that are suceptible to magic.Darthnemesis2 wrote...
I'm pretty sure the Chantry leaves the Dalish to do their own thing, which is why Dalish mages aren't taken into the Circle in the first place.
In general the Chantry doesn't strike me as a 'Live and let live' kind of organisation. They just don't want to waste any more troops to dalish guerilla warfare, as long they're no 'real' threat.
OT: Congrats to the mages, i'm looking forward to game 3

The templars had been annihilated, there had been no mercy for those murderous fanatics. What was left of the once mighty dwarven nation, had now been forced back into the caves they came from. The darkspawn would have a score to settle with them there. The assasins that had plagued the land, had been hunt down and destroyed.
Errel thought back to a time where the circle had been all but destroyed at the hands of the dwarves and templars. He stood over the body of what he believed to be a prince of Orzammar, the irony brought a smile to his face while he watched the regrouping army at the foot of the hill. Thousands of magi and tens of thousands of human warriors, strenthened by the Dalish elves stood in countless rows, ready to march.
Errel turned his back on the battlefield and went back down to join the army. The second war had ended, it was time to reform the world. The age of Magic had begun...

Didn't you know that the only proper way to announce a win in the 21st century is "l0l pwn3d y00!!!1"?
