i just started messing around with this and i loaded the area i want to use. how do i remove objects already in that area? i loaded a house and there are things like rugs and barrels in it that i cant select.

Things that are unselectable may be part of the underlying level. Try looking at the area layout file (use File Open) and you should be able to delete it from there. The area layout filename is in the area properties window.

Can someone please explain to me or link me to a tutorial that explains how to remove existing items like camp fires or tents from existing area layouts. 3 days now I've been trying to figure this out.
