You allow Charlie Sheen on air, but bewbies in your vidya games is a big no-no.

Yeah, and I hope we get the "extended version" right from the start. I was lucky to play the game in the extended version at first. Wouldn't have know what I missed.
It wouldn't be an extended edition if it was the first, would it?
Enhanced Edition was a good move though, even if it wasn't necessary.
Original Witcher was unplayable! Bugs, awful voice acting in english and lots of dialogues without voices! They re-recorded all the dialogues for EE, fixed the bugs and there, one of the best games ever! Geralt of Rivia is a remarkable character and I can't wait for TW2!

Now give me a release date (sometime around summer would be great, that's when my new PC should be assembled and ready)

It's a shame the voices aren't overly good again (but they sound a bit better), and they really needed to fix Geralt's voice on that trailer. Otherwise, pretty good. Looking forward to it, but I still need to finish The Witcher

The scabbards...
Fighting moves...
Waredrobe!
Concept design!
..but Geralts face is too young somehow, not ugly enough, and lips are too full and red to my taste...good thing I'll be looking at ladies

You forgot that Geralt still runs as if he's got a stick up his bum.
This is true and falls under more of the same.

Not really, I've always fancied Geralt's voice for some reason. Could be because it's intentionally made to sound monotone unlike, for example, male Shepard from ME where it comes off as such by accident. Other voices are basically ordinary, no bombastics there.OnlyShallow89 wrote...

But damn, Witcher 2 trailer looks phenomenal. Graphics seem to have been improved immensely as well as the cinematic feeling (if such a thing can be judged from a trailer). Only real question is the actual gameplay and how they're changing the combat (to be honest, almost anything would be an improvement over the original system, even if they dip into QTE approach). One other thing I've seen people commenting on other forums is how different Geralt's face looks now... he's lost his east european-ish face and now he almost looks like yet another generic fantasy hero. Sad panda.
But... umm, what's with Triss' "magical girl" transformation?

I really loved the first and EE made it even better.
So I'm guessing that the elf dude is goign to be the main antagonist this time?
and lol at the undressing magic.

Even if it ends up being Witcher 1.1 I'll be all over it. Day 1.Seagloom wrote...

This is true and falls under more of the same.I still have to go through the first game, but from what little we were shown here I'm not impressed yet. Shiny new graphics are well and good, but I hope they expand on the gameplay too. Otherwise it's just going to be Witcher 1.5.

People should do themselves a favor and play with Polish dialogues + English subtitles.
Even though I have a hard time understanding Polish (it's similar Slavic language to mine, but I haven't studied it or anything), I fully agree. Games - and movies, for that matter - should be enjoyed in their original audio track.
I really hope this and "Alpha Protocol" turn out to be great games and put some pressure on BioWare/EA in the sense to strive for more quality... and not DLC/quick-launch sequels as it's shaping for the next year.

Here's some "leaked" Alpha footage with commentaries for those that missed it in Sept.

Before someone complains about the voice-overs, it's there just as a "place holder", so no, that's not the final VO. Just pointing out the obvious, to avoid more "oh man that VO sucks!!!1"

The witcher is probally my 2nd most favorite RPG of all time. Baldurs gate series would have to be number 1.
The witcher would rate in my top 10 best games, Myth II soulblighter is number 1. Completly suprasses every game and its 11 years old. Its like a bad joke that makes you laugh and cry it is seriously that good of a game Myth II i would force into peoples hands.
Myth II go get it, its very cheap and the computer specs are very low. Its 11 years old so you wont be dissapointed losing money even if you dont like it.
Here is just a tiny snippet of part of the story which makes myth II the best game ever.

I was thinking more about (for me at least) how the audio quality of the trailer degraded when Geralt spoke. His voice actor works well, but it didn't sound right.Arbiter Libera wrote...

That's just a techical thing or it could be a mere placeholder (given that Witcher has a poor history when it comes to VA, if you take into account that good deal of VA for W1 was re-recorded for EE). Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but overall I'm impressed with this new trailer.OnlyShallow89 wrote...

Also, "Dynamic Combat with Vast Tactical Abilities" seems to imply that the combat will be completely different from the first game's "Boring Combat with No Tactical Abilities." But we shall see.
