I've gotten as far as the Urn quest and was finding it a royal pain trying to find books, scrolls and which chests etc. were usable.
Silly me, forgot if you press the tab key everything usuable in an area is highlighted! Doh, I feel so dumb.
I must have missed a bunch of stuff at the beginning.
Hope that helps someone else who has be hovering the mouse over every darn book, scroll, book case and chest to find things.
Doh... Forgot about the darn Tab key

I felt like a royal idiot after noticing this just today as well. I missed a lot of things at the start too I'm sure, despite feeling like I was mousing over everything very thoroughly!

I found this on my own earlier today- but I agree I should have known to hold it from previous games! I wish there was an option to have it toggled on/off

Having just played through NWN2 for the first time, I went on autopilot and tab every room I enter. I sometimes forget to take my pinky off the tab!
Does help alot.

You think you feel stupid? For the last four days I've pressed the ALT key and wondered why *nothing* was ever highlighted. Thank you so much!

Icewind Dale II and NWN had the same feature. A godsend, especially in the summoning exercises.

I was already at the Final battle with the Archdemon when I realized this. How depressing.
