Lost my best armor and weapon in that dungeon... Hugely disappointed, could we please get a patch or something to reclaim our items? Like within the week... Love you Bioware!! (Honest)

Yeah I went to silverite mines without velanna. I thought everything was cool since the dialog was made so if she wasn't required to be present. But I couldn't complete the main story.

WHY THE HELL do they offer to kill Velanna before the mines but leave the game bugged.

I had my lawyer friend write a full issue letter to the Better Business Bureau regarding the bugged games ruining computers and not refunding others I know of their money.

Just went through the Silverite mines and only wore equipment from Awakening, it worked out fine, thank goodness....although Velanna asked to join the GWs even though I already put her through the joining.
People were complaining about the "tedium" of going through the Silverite mines, I actually found it enjoyable. Sucks that I had to read a spoiler to make sure that it didn't screw my game up.

Ok ive lost my gear aswell, not gonna cry about it, the *best* armor is found Somewhere else anyway.. and u can make a new set within an hour with Toolset
, but its VERY anoying and obviously people do not like their gear stripped so to Bioware ..do not EVER make a quest like that again !

. Here it happend on the PC version though.

Same here. No #4 and no armor. This puts me back soo far. It saddens me that all this work is just erased over something so silly as wearing gear that apparently isn't compatible with the DLC.

The first time I played, I didn't do any steps to secure my armor, but I found and killed Exp. Subject # 4 with no trouble. The second time I played through, same amount of prep (none) and there was no Exp. Subject 4 or leftover gear in chest.
Michael Lang, or whatever Bioware exec next checks here, it would be great if you could fix this.

This is what happens when you buy a rushed, $40 boxed-DLC. You guys really set the bar with Origins, but slacking off and expecting a full payout ain't becoming of what we've come to expect from y'all.

Anyone know where I can find the key to the locked chest in the room before the trader?

Add another disappointed customer bitten by the lost gear bug.
Seriously, BioWare. I expect better of you.

I lost my main characters gear as well and I found this mod that adds a merchant to Vigil's keep. Supposed to have all items from Da:o and Da:a. I recovered all of my characters items excluding some boots from dlc.

ah crap so im going to have to reload the save before the mone, strip naked and then enter and do the whole mines over again..
the bugs in awakening are stupid to say the least, the amount of random crashes ive had with the wending woods is rediculous and loosing all my main characters gear is beyond a joke

I just noticed this, but now it is to late for me to load the game after the point of capture for me, is there any way I can fix this or do I have to just replay the whole game? This needs to be patched ASAP!!

My problem with the mines is that I totally forgot to hunt down the ring (and the dragon egg with it). I cannot return to the mines since you only really enter them after being captured. I guess I’ll just have to skip out on those two quests...
But other then that, my gear is safe so it could be worse!

I cannot believe this. So there is not patch for this problem with gear loss in the Silverite Mines quest. That is ridiculous. Makes me wish I pirated this game.

And it happend to me. I reloaded and tried 3 times with no luck. The experimental subject wearing my equipment did not appear, I start in the cell stark naked & all my inventory items were still in my inventory. When I played the Orlesian Warden just with Awakening equipment this didn't happen.
Workaround: I fully undressed myself before entering Silverite Mine & it worked properly. The exp. subject appeared but with no loot & was able to get my equipment back in the chest with all my other inventory items. And I was clothed in commoner's clothing at the begining in the cell as I should've been.
So workaround till next patch.
