And now that i've reloaded to start over I'm the stupid elf didn't give me the key...NEW BUG FOR ME! Amazing, i bet if i try again my character will just straight up die.

Didn't they just hire a bunch of community guys to work there?  What...where they the same ppl that used to work at Troika and programmed The Temple of Elemental Evil?

wow, i just got awakening after not bothering with DLC for this game since i finished it to begin with...



Just lost my gear, totally pissed off and the most recent HARD save is 6 hours of game play earlier. I had just been running of auto and quick saves....i cant believe this issue is still around after 6 months.

Same. luckily i did a save as i entered the mines and googled this on a hunch. whew. putting my good armour in the storage.

Personally I find it an insult that I came across this bug in my very first play through, and now I gotta start from the beginning. To think that QA didn't pick this up....they must be a load of baboons sitting infront of toy keyboards doing sweet FA. Not impressed with support, Not impressed with patches, and clearly they don't read the forums else they would have fixed this asap. Sorry Bioware, but you seriously messed up on this one. To be honest I think I'm gonna shelve the game till some kind of action is taken, and my DA2 order is off because if this is the team thats going for DA2, then I don't want to be anywhere near that.....trying to find another word apart from game cos at the moment it's not worthy to ba called that.

All items gone, quicksave and autosave have overwritten my oppertunity to go back and fix this. Thank you BioWare, my first playthrough just ended pre-maturely.

I am seriously disapponted in Bioware. They should have NOT done this. This is sooo bad man... Ruined my day. Why didn't they patch this ****? I loved them before but now... I don't know what to say...

jesus..... i just lost HARD earned gear !!! im so pissed i ran thru this cavern like 4 times and nothing and to top it all off my earlier saves are in the ****in cavern... guess my **** is lost for good

I wonder if this will be any indication on how buggy Star Wars: The Old Republic will be? I certainly know that I'm going to wait for others to buy that before even considering it.

Yet another victim of the Lost Gear bug, FFCCKCKKKKK... I will seriously re-consider buying Dragon Age 2. Thanks.

 Don't know if someone mentionned it yet but jujst in case. I saw some people mentionning if the main character is wearing RtO gears such as Cailan's armor they won't find it back after. 
The issue seems to occur also with the other DLCs. My main character is a mage and I had him wear the robes unlocked after completing Witch Hunt (Vestment of the Seer). He also had the Sash of Forbidden Secret. I couldn't find my gear back 

I had Nathaniel in my party, he was wearing the Dress of the Provacateur (unlocked in Leliana's Song) and I found it back no probs. Maybe the issue is only if the main character wears those stuff. Anyway I will reload my save for the third time and undress him because it is very frustrating I had good stuff for him

This bug also happened to me, my main was wearing the full sentinel armor set and the Mothers Chosen Sword (black one) lost it all, i wasn't even wearing a single DLC item at all before entering the mine, just started a new Grey Warden Commander in Awakening..starting a new game...wish they could fix things here before releasing DA2

I completely avoided the bug by just removing all of my equipment before entering. Am I the only one who ever has the foresight to do this?

I can`t believe this game has a bug like this, It`s kinda hard to believe... I`ve lost all my main guy equips too, and I didn`t save before this damn cave... I was already dismotivated about a bug in law and order quest: I decided to help the guards agains the smugglers, but by a mistake, i`ve asked for the bartender in the inn to oped the back door... conclusion: i`ve killed the smugglers and the guards didn`t like me anymore... I wish bioware make something about it. Its shamefull.
Now I`ll have to restart the whole DAO:awakening... just beacuase of this damn bug...
What I`ve lost: Dragonbone Cleaver (Volcanic) [Witch hunt], Corruption helmet, Wade`s superior dragonbone plate set, Ring of Ages, Lifegiver ring, Blod-Googed amulet [the stone prisionner], aldruil`s blessing

 Just had the same experience most people described.

Loaded into the prison cell, with my main character naked and some items still in my inventory.
Unfortunately I only read about this bug after I completed the cave and never got my own items back.
So it probably has something to do with having certain special items equipped.

To prevent this issue I reloaded my save game right before I entered the Silverite Mine, equipped some random stuff for weapons and armor and when I loaded into the prison cell a few minutes later my inventory was complety empty and my main character was now wearing clothes.

And this time I actually did see a 4th test subject, in the same area as the 3rd is. And my remaining equipment, including my unequipped goods is in the chest next to the Qunari merchant.

seriously, this is rediculously awful... fortunately, i was playing on my sisters computer when i entered that mine, so i still have a save on my computer before even dealing with vallena...

im sorry for all u guys who lost ur stuffs, i know how hard is to get some items...

bioware is all story... no gameplay... if they maybe learned a few things from blizzard... they would have huge potential

/\\ indeed, they try to make the story as fancy, clever and cheesy as possible and kinda forget about the actual game play...

i mean did they even test the compatibility of their DLC items with their own expansion?



so, i finally got my equips back, i re-loaded a save before i entered the mines when i didnt had even seen vallena yet, then i took off all my main character equips (yes, only the main, cause all my companions are equiped with at least one DLC item an i didnt took off their equips), so it means that the problem is exclusevely attached to the main character...

take off all ur main char equip, take vellana with u and be happy if u have some save before entering the mines cause u'll get ur equips back inside the mines...

+1. Another victim of the lost gear bug. Fortunately, I have plenty of save games. Will be reloading and entering the mines again stark naked!

After 2x intimate time with Morrigan. I love this game but after this bug. Oh my.. my last save is before I craft my best runes. Spent a day save and reload for that runes =(

I also lost all my gear.. the best gear from origins and the sentimentel armor..



this bug sucks.. just because I'm an arcane warrior and the darkspawn mage or something can't wear it..

This blows me away. To be honest, I always assume these things need a good several months to get good and bug-free, so I like to wait on purchasing them. Evidentially I didn't wait long enough. Lost all my main's gear with no "untainted" saves recent enough to make me want to bother with the rest of this phoned-in expansion pack. I'm bent, and I want my money back. DA2 can come out console-only for all I care.



Shame on you, BioWare. I've bought nearly every game and expansion you've put out since the original NWN. That stops now. 10 months of this? Get your priorities straight, or the customers will take their business elsewhere.
