Arcane warriors! Awakening has a boatload of new options. The new endurance runes (for your armor) are especially useful. They grant -5% fatigue a piece. So armor of tier 7 or higher can get  a -15% reduction! The new attunement talent grants +10 willpower, +10 magic, and +2 mana regen.

Unfortunately, I haven't encountered any useful equipment, yet. I'm still wearing Wade's superior dragonskin armor and wielding Duncan's Sword. Andruil's blessing for +2 mana regen, lifegiver for a con boost and some random other ring. Spellward for some spell resistance.

The sentinel is an awesome suit of armor but it's fatigue rating is just too high. It also doesn't  grant mana regen like Wade's armor.

Has anyone found any better equipment than the Origins equipment? Also, are there +mana/stamina regen runes?

There is an amulet that gives you -15% Fatigue I believe. I don't recall if it was Warriors only... but I don't think so. I didn't come across any +spell power melee weapons though, the staves in the game are sick, but doesn't seem to have any AW weapons. Not sure about armor. Most of them seemed to be for Warriors.

The amulet is sadly, warrior only. It's dropped by an enemy boss.

Wade's superior medium armor with -15% fatigue runes is, sadly, still the best arcane warrior armor in the game.
I say "sadly" because the armor looks like crap. <_<
The best weapon comes from Wade. You can craft a one-handed sword with +4 to all stats, +6 attack, and some other bonuses.

The game was easy enough without needing the best stuff, so I wore things for aesthetic reasons.
Stormchaser heavy armor + Spellweaver(helmetless and without a shield) looks awesome!

I'm still tempted to go for the sentinel armor + fatigue reducing runes. But only because it's the most awesome armor I have ever seen in a game.

Wade's Superior Dragonskin Armor still looks better than robes. The way I understand it you can enhance it with -15% fatigue runes on top of the -12.5% net fatigue bonus of the armor itself. If that is the case I have no reasons to complain.

The sword that you described sounds intriguing but I think that the best sword+shield set for an Arcane Warrior is stiil Cailan's Arms for the massive 5.75 mana regeneration.

I don't really mind about the amulet because I love my Spellward.
