More childish insults, you are really helping your case... by constantly lofting insults at other users and bioware, you continue to reveal your level of maturity and composure.

My godness.
You must be a very sensitive person if you feel like "selfish ******" is such a grave insult.

You know, my arguments still stand.
You can't contribute anything to the matter at hand since you are not the one getting ripped off, so you might as well stay quiet.

I did not say "grave' i said childish. Telling others to "stay quiet" because they are not eraging is pointless

If you've ever played an RPG expansion before, you know how it goes.  Ever deep RPG has a long list of bugs.

The list of "buts" is usually for people who ignored the previews and the faqs.  Like no DLC, no romance, "not really dead" storyline.

80% of the complaints are simply from ignorance and refusal of people to understand what they were buying.  there are indeed legit bugs, but there are legit bugs in every software package for sale.

For such a spamming hater who insulting bioware and no longer interested in DAO, why are you still trolling their boards?

LOL shouldn't be worth commenting. Go back to your "who has the cutest haircut for his main char" thread

To annoy little hater fanboys who are unable to cope with the complicated quote system here.
Besides shouldn't you be out on the street getting offended by trees and children playing on your lawn?

Give me your reasons for negatively flaming Awakenings on every forum you can find

WHEN YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME.

Because of all the problems they cause with each new piece of content they introduce (not all games have this problem)

i think it's a bad idea to treat a video game console like a pc....

I've played through half of it, and I agree DON'T BUY AWAKENINGS, at least, not yet.

Don't get me wrong, it's a decent expansion, but they need to work out the bugs, it really wears on you, especially with things like Sentinels and Vigilance, and it kind of makes you wonder what it would've been like had it been tested.  It might be worth it in a couple weeks (though the Bioware track record isn't a great one so...)  I think my new Bioware strategy is to not touch the games until a month or so after, or at least until I start seeing the boards say that patches are being made to fix the problems.

In the unlikely event that any bioware employees read this, just a heads up, If you fix the bugs within this next week, most people will overlook it, as it's becoming rather common place in games that they be released and then a few bugs are caught afterwards.  If you take a month, well, good luck in the future

i agree... the speed at which they fix these glitches will determine weatheror not many people will purchase dragon age 2...

I for one plan on waiting at least a month or so after it is released to purchase it now... since it has been made apparent they are not properly testing their games...

Personally, I haven't even opened DAA yet. I bought it, but I promised myself I wouldn't open it until I was satisfied with my trophies for DAO. I'm pleased, however, to note that I'm not the only one that has noticed bugs and glitches. The funniest one I think I've found is that when my toon goes into stealth (as a level 20 rogue), you can see her shadow, but then you can clearly see her teeth and eyes floating around. Another thing I thought was funny is that when you max out your Arcane Warrior talent tree, and switch into Combat Mode, you're a pair of floating eyes and teeth that shimmers white, even during the cut scenes. However, As of Mar. 21, 2010 - I would personally like to voice my outrage at the amount of money I spent on the expansion and then lay to rest the variable differences in currency as one of my favorite things to do is watch the currency market.

At the Open of Business Today:

39.99 USD is equal to 26.62 GBP.
39.99 USD is equal to 29.53 EUR.
39.99 USD is equal to 43.66 AUD.
39.99 USD is equal to 40.67 CAD.
39.99 USD is equal to 1,174.03 RUB.

.....so if we look at it, those of us who have bought it here in the US are the ones getting ripped off, and those in Canada and Australia, and definitely in Russia if it was released in Russia.....that might just be me though. However, I plan to give it a shot. The little bugs and glitches I've found in DAO aren't nearly as bad as what I'm reading on the PS3 tech forums bugs list, but....maybe, just maybe, I'll get lucky. Who knows.

Perhaps it is because I don't have the privaledge of living in the European Union currently, but it seems to me that even though 40.00 EUR is $54.15 USD, you're still getting the longer end of the stick. Either way, I do agree that BioWare is really screwing people over with the price of an expansion that is so small, let alone buggy. I doubt they'll actually be doing anything about it. I'd noticed a post somewhere else that the PS3 forums are ignored by the moderators while there is much more conversation on the PC and 360 forums. Curiosity overtook me and I went to look, and such was true. The moderators are far more active over there than they are in the PS3 forums. Truly, a sad thing. And I don't know what that has to do with the price of the game.

I dont care if Awakening is buggy

I dont care if awakening isnt to everyones enjoyemnt

I would love to buy it and see for myself

However i have dragon age on ps3 and the price is 31.99. Considering the origins game was only 39.99 when it was released i find 31.99 to be quite steep and am wondering why its only the ps3 owners that have to pay this sum when people on the xbox only need pay the equivilent of around 25.00 (im not going to compare it to the pc as pc games are always cheaper).

So i wont **** about the content of it, people **** about the content of origins but i find no reason to it was a brilliant game and the trailers for awakening gave me the same vibe, i was very much looking forward to playing it but i simply cannot support the price gouging of the ps3 crowd like this.

Hell i havent even seen any official word or explanation as to why the price differs so much between Xbox and Ps3.

I don't buy Awakening for one simply reason: i want the disc version. I don't care if the game has bugs or it's short, ( even if 15-20 for 40€ isn't a big problem IMHO), or it's expensive because even with this problem i think this is an amazing expansion (i read some preview) but buy something that i can't really own it's insane imho. Maybe i will change my idea because i love this game and i am curiosed to see what happen after DA:O but for now i won't do it

i cant help but feel disheartened

id like to have an "official answer" to how a downloadable expansion...can be 7 gbp (10 us dollars)more expensive than a disc based one for the xbox360. if you download it on the xbox store it is still 5gbp cheaper.

i cant help but feel that is not right or fair. in any way tbh. and usually, an expansion is around half the rrp of the main game? (20gbp would get my purchase im sure)

Sony are just using the rrp given by EA by my understanding. so i dont know how the price can be justified...whoever prices it.

also...game prices for xbox360 and ps3 have always been the same here. dragon age for example was 39.99(gbp) on xbox360 and ps3 at launch.

i hope the sales figures shows them they have made a mistake and a reduction comes quickly.

its still important to show dissatifaction at the price point in my opinion. and this hit strongly enough for me to come and comment on it.

i might get it on pc tho. just ridiculous that the ps3 bioware community appears to suffer.
