Did anybody else run into a glitch in the game while trying to rescue
their NPC's from the FADE.  I am trying to reach the NPC trapped in the
Nightmare area at the very bottom of the pentagram thingy.  The problem
is the Fade Gate dumps you out on a path that a few steps in has a big
statue with horns overhanging the path casting a shadow across it.  The
game seems to think that this shaded area is solid because it wont let
me pass thru it.   I have noticed while playing the game that any
floor/ground area that is 'shadowed' won't let you click on it as a
"move toable area" but usually you can just find a spot past the area
that gives you the yellow cursor and click there and you will walk to
the area but in this case you act like there is some force field not
allowing you to pass.  You can clearly see the NPC that you need to
resuce off in the distance at the end of the path and there are no
other paths in the area so this is obviously a glitch ... anbody else
have this area? Can I just proceed to the inner santcum and beat the
boss and not worry about rescuing the last person?  HELP!  

I have had/have any number of issues with the game but this is my most immediate problem.  Thanks.

I have the same problem. Many others do too. Not seen a fix for it yet tho

*an update:

I managed to get past the blocking statue somehow but could not get back.

I got tired of trying and continued to the centre.

I can confirm your stuck character reappears after you defeat the demon in the centre, but you are down 1 party member for that battle.

Hi there,

Could you take a screenshot of the level to help narrow things down. Also, what NPC is it that you're getting there. It's possible that it could be an issue of a particular party member needing to be in a particular party slot for this to happen.

I just checked on the PC, but it worked for me getting Morrigan from the "bottom" nightmare.

I read some where that someone used the keyboard to move the character through there instead of the mouse, try that. I am currently having problems with the spirit gates, they wont let me through. Real irritating!

just went through that area with shale and picked him up, to get back through I had to change shape in to a mouse and use the keyboard to get through.

Ok, I am having this same problem but do not understand the using the keyboard to get through references. Can someone please explain that more in depth?

Nevermind, I understand. Just never use the keyboard controls, so it didn't dawn on me until a few moments later

I have just run into the same problem...so mouse and keyboard (terrible joke) works?
