Hey guys I am new to this game and was looking for a class that will just get through this game really easy. I like the sound of shapeshifters and I was reading on the Constitution stats I was thinking just putting ALL my points into constitution for the survivability and just sit in bear form? Will that work? Any other suggestions please!? I prefer being shapeshifter so yeah just asking to see if it will work. Thank you in advance!
Hey guys just got this awesome game need help please!

going for survivability it's hard to miss with a sword and board warrior then take the champion and templar specs you will be nigh unkillable even on the upper difficulties

But I ain't a fan of the warriors I really love shapeshifters! I was wondering will that work just stacking constitution and using your forms cause I don't see why shapeshifters will use strenght or willpower or anything.

willpower is essential for a shapeshifter willpower determines how much mana you have and animal forms drain mana constantly.

Really so you can't stay in your forms permanently?

like I said in terms of pure survival warrior is the way to go. Mages can deal absolutely crazy damage but they tend to be a bit... squishy.

but while it lasts it's damn awesome, I mean having a blight corrupted bear while spikes probing from it's back ripping a Hurlock is just a memorable moment, or having a corrupted spider burn bandits with its acid spit after tying them up with webbing,

To be honest, mages are much better in their regular forms than they are shapeshifted. Like Gilead says, if you want survivability, sword and board warrior is unparalleled.

Yea fear the
SPIDER GRILLING FLAME BREATH.
Just make sure you put the mage on a hill or hard to reach place and let him spam AOE skills then charge down in a bear form.

So champions are the class that never die?

well warriors are the class you want, the champion specialization will give you access to a nice set of buffs for you and your party while the templar specialization will make you MUCH more resilient to magic as well as allowing you to take down those pesky mages with fewer headaches
