Haven't seen anything about the broken endings in the patch notes, nothing about shaperate's blessing, jowan's intentions or even if bows are being fixed because it only says daggers. Doesn't seem like the endings would be to hard to fix, just need to make sure that the proper flags are checked.
Something tells me I may end up playing a friends version of the PC game. Which is a damn shame. I'll also be very hesitant to have a Day 1 purchase of DA2.

After what I've seen from this game there's no way in hell I'd pre-order or buy on the first day DA2, gonna be a wait and see title for me. Not only that it looks like they're going the ME2 route with it. (mainstreaming for more sales, less rpg elements etc.) The poor support for this game is what stopped me from getting awakenings, well that and the price, but the fact that the endings are bugged and carry over really take away even more desire to get the expansion. In a story based rpg having your choices made mean nothing because of bugs really takes away a lot.

Although it does sound like the consoles DO have an issue with being able to marry Anora as a male. That ending just doesn't take at all. However, I think it's technically safe for Alistair to not be king as it doesn't really screw up any of your endings and/or cutscenes (aside from a few lines of dialog here and there) unless you're trying to marry Anora.

You're definitely not the only one. My Human Noble Import is all messed up. I chose Anora to be queen with my Warden as king but the codex says she was deposed and Alistair made King. She shows up at the coronation but the epilogue says she never remarried. It wouldn't be so bad save for the fact that at the beginning of Awakening on my noble import, Alistair is suddenly king.
Seen lots of these threads\\\\comments and even made one myself. Strange that this is a surprise to the devs.
yup, i had the same issue as well, is there a patch to correct the issue?

I've read stuff about "Epilogue" saves? Well I don't have one at all? The only saves I have for my Origins character is a manual save at my camp after I completed it, and an Auto save during the 2nd Shale mission (Where you go to where he was born, I did this and some DLC stuff after completing it). So am I screwed at getting my real ending to import into Awakening?

This stuff really needs to be looked at and eventually patched. And while I can partially understand the issue of patching w/ red tape holding you back, I am getting sick of it. How can modders fix many of these problems easy but Bioware can't? And if there is redtape preventing you from fixing certain types of problems, then why don't you do proper and extensive Q&A testing beforehand, instead of rushing it, like DA:O-Awakening. How could any tester miss the fact the best sword and armor set is glitched?
This just reminds me of the ME1 DLC crap. We wait and wait and never get the proper DLC treatment and when ME2 comes out, Casey Hudson says the first game didn't have the internal structure to handle multiple DLCs. They tell us now? And after we waited years with no response? And they stopped DLC production early on too (which they could have told us; be to know nothing will come than have our hopes up), evident in the cancellation of the ME1 statues (remember Saren was next and it was canceled because they were told there would be no more DLC and therefore demand would suffer to the point of them being unprofitable). Also, Sam Huilick has posted a song on YouTube that was meant for ME1 DLC that was canceled.
They seriously need a down-to-earth person to let them know what pisses off many gamers and such, because forums, etc. are not a good representative sample.
That rant aside, I still love Bioware and personally think the Mass Effect 1 and 2 are the best games ever... for me anyways.
EDIT: format and another sentence

The bugs with the ending are universal, since I ran into similar problems on the PC version. It was a real shame, it marred what had been a fantastic and otherwise bug-free experience.
My character was a male dwarven noble - initially I persuaded Alistair to marry Anora, but at the Landsmeet I changed my mind and let Anora rule alone, and executed Loghain. From then on the game acted as if Alistair was still going to be King, and he even gave the speech before the final battle. I went ahead with the Dark Ritual, slayed the Archdemon, and got to the epilogue. Alistair was alive and standing near Anora, but she spoke as if he was dead. The codex entry for Alistair seemed to be correct, but as far as I can remember there was no mention of him in the ending slideshow.
I'd have thought this would have been one of the highest priority bugs to fix, but I haven't seen anything in the patch notes about it.

I just completed a playthrough of origins where I ended with my warden as queen (as well as romancing alistair)
However, during the epilouge, though it did say at the beggining that my warden ruled beside him, I also got the slide that said Anora was queen (though my warden still his lover?)
Will this effect my imports? Is there a way to avoid the glitch?

Though to be honest it might be more advisable to seek out help/advice/knowledge on the DA2 tech boards. (I for one don't have DA2 on the 360 so cannot help.)

If you had taken time to read the blurb on the 'On the Road' map after the end credits, you would have discovered that BioWare was thanking you for playing the game and that you can go back into the game to complete any dlc you had not played previously (I hazard to guess that is because people may have completed the game before the first purchaseable dlc was released so they can play it straight away rather than having to play the entire game again). There is also a disclaimer that these stories took place during the main campaign but before the end game (going to Denerim to fight the final battle).
As such, you cannot go back after completing the game to do missions that are not dlc related; it is not an error.
