Firstly Origins only cost me £30, a game twice as big as Awakening.

Secondly, why is it that UK PS3 owners have to pay the highest price?  PC owners have the choice to either buy a hard copy or download Awakening and either one is only half the price for PS3 owners. The same is true of the XBOX also, available in hard copy and download for less than the PS3 price.

Given that your support for the PS3 version has been laughable to this point, (a 2 month delay on Return To Ostagar, a meaningless patch that addressed none of the concerns raised in the Bioware blindspot that is the Playstation technical support forum), on top of all that we now have to pay the highest price of all your customers to download Awakening?

An explanation would be greatly appreciated. I have continued to support your product despite all the annoyances and problems with the PS3 version. I have purchased all posible DLC cotent and am downloading Awakening now, but would really like to hear from someone at Bioware as to why PS3 owners have been and continue to be treated so poorly?

Because people are willing to pay that much for it.

What, you wanted a lovey-dovey politically-correct answer where the expansion is able to make you rich and cure cancer all for one low-low price of 31 GBP? Welcome to reality.

While I may not have gotten Dragon Age (any of the products) on the PS3, I do agree with most of what you said including the price for both the PC version and Xbox versions (15ish pounds for PC, 24 - 25 on the 360).

I'm also confused as to why the PS3 doesn't even get a hard copy and I think Bioware should really take a step back and think about this considering some of the stuff is really bad or insulting to PS3 version owners

Well, I have got all the previous DLc and WAS going to get Awakening..... at £32 they can take a hike. If I wanted to I could buy the original and awakenings on the PC for less than that !

If your perception of the price is anything, but the above, you're the one who has some maturing to do.

People...want...money.

If people are willing to buy your product for $50, why would you price it at $30?

Sucks to be a console owner doesnt it? How do you think MS and Sony make a living? They c harge an extra premium on all games to cover their costs.

It may be something to do with exchange rates and carelessness of publishers. I can see this just being a mistake by EA. It happened with steam when they changed it so that publishers set pricing. For about a week 1 dollar = 1 euro = pissed off customers. It'll be changed, probably to around 20 to 25. As some1 else said sony and microsoft will be taking their share.

You realize BioWare doesn't set those prices, right? Complaining about it to them doesn't do a lot of good, Sony are the ones you should be taking it up with.

The amusing thing is you can get Origins AND awakening, cheaper, than you can buy it on PSN.

XBox360 version > dutch store (cheapest) 19,95 euro's > average 26 euro's

PC > cheapest 22 euro's, average 25 euro's

PS3 > 40!!! euro's

Really not too happy at paying £32. I assumed it'd be £30 (where did the extra £2 come from!?)

Considering I paid £25 for Origins, it's a bit ridiculous...

i repeat a posting from another thread here, if you don't mind:

i am quite furious. here in germany psn price its 39.99 €.
bioware/ea, you can't be serious about this.

first of all 39.99 Dollars is nothing near 39.99 €, more like 55 Dollars. so that's already insulting.
it gets even worse because you force us (given we want to play it, that is) to download it via psn. no disc, no booklet, nothing. and that for about 40 Euro?

i deeply loved DA:O, but there is no chance i am gonna buy this at this rate.

it is ridiculous for sure that we have to pay more on PS3 and it is not even a hard copy, I for one will not pay this for a dl when I only paid £25 for DA and at least with a hard copy price will drop in shops at some point, doubt ps store will drop at all

What makes me laugh is theres no word from bioware about all this crap. I followed a link to this thread from a mod so they know we're not happy but they are ignoring us.

they have never replied to any issues raised by ps3 owners.
