It will be. EA probably set the RRP at the same for every format, then Microsoft and Sony mark up that price so they both make a profit and cover hosting costs. When Sony say they asked them to set it cheaper they don't mean they said £32 was too much, they mean they said £20 (or whatever the RRP was) is too much. Since it means either less money for Sony or less money for EA you can bet neither are going to back down without a fight.
 Sony do tend to make some ridiculous demands when it comes to PSN. Fact is they've got the publishers by the short and curlies - either you accept what Sony demand or you don't get to sell the game on the PS3.

It'd be more effective to petition for a retail release than complain about the price. At least then you've got a pretty good chance of the retailers lowering it to a sensible price at some point without having to worry about politics.

If you read my post it is either a reduction in price or a hard copy (retail version) as you call it at least that way the shops would reduce the price eventually, just like on play you can allready get it for 24.99 360 and 14.99 pc

Frankly, if it was the same price as on other platforms, then the rest of us would have every right to complain as we would be subsidising the PS3 version that cost so much more to make.

It is about a bug in the game, and a person from Bioware responded.

As for why Bioware/EA do not respond to the price for the ps3 version, my best guess is that it is a contractual thing. They are probably bound by a contract that states that they can't discuss such things in public.

The tech forums are mainly fans helping fans - official support is given by EA, and maybe Sony for the PS3 version.

The fact that multi platform releases are often the same price on PS3 and Xbox just means that your copy is being subsidised by Xbox owners. Lucky you.The fact remains that, according just about every game developer who has expressed an opinion on it, the PS3 takes more time and resourses to develop games for. More time and resources = more money.  By rights, all multuiplatform releases should cost more on PS3.

I would like to applaud BIoware and EA for this excellent pricing decision and for not making owners of other platforms pay for PS3 owners' games. Bravo!

Well in that case disgruntled for some reason because they got a 360, could you not afford a PS3, and also it harder and more time consuming to make games for the 360 over the PC that why console games are dearer, so hey guess from your theory they might as well not make game consoles or games other than for PC

i often thought Ps3 games cost a little more because they were on a blu ray disk on not a dvd, but hey "hurr duur xbawks 360 gamez pay for ps3 gamez" sounds like a totally rational explanation:whistle:

Console games cost more because Sony and MS take a cut, while the PC is a free market.

yeah I know that, just going on bobito64's answer for PS3 being subsidised by 360, PC ect.... load of rubbish if it didnt make sense price wise, no company would make them in the first place as all companies are in it for the money but that's just the way of the world
