Hello, first post, I brought doughnuts, nice to meet you.

I want to pick up the Templar specialization.  Does anyone know how much Alistair has to like you before teaching it?  The possibility came up for the first time last night (I think he's at +21?) and he refused but said he might change his mind.

I'm considering just getting the book, but...ow.  2/3 of my money in one shot.

approval rating required is 30, so you're not too far off.



as for the book, all you really need to do is save before you buy it and reload the save once you've bought it and the specialization is unlocked across all current and future playthroughs

I may just hold on and pummel Alistair with gifts, if it's that close. His dialogue's good enough that I'm okay with bromancing him a little.
