Trap/Poison Menu STILL BROKEN! Support?

The trap/poison menu is broken on the 360 and has been since the Origins game was released in November. It has been written and discussed here. Users have determined exactly what the issue is, and we had someone (Dev) discussing it with us, before Victor Wachter was brought in.
Then it was mentioned again.
Now there was hope this bug might get fixed with the "supposed" 1.03 fix.
NO SUCH LUCK!
There are so many things wrong that break a rogue type character, between the well documented (and fixed for the pc folks) Dex bug, and this menu problem, which does not allow you to go to 2nd wheel of poisons if you have any traps, making trapmaking a non-viable option (if anyone has any traps or trapmaking, it breaks the wheel for them, which means their poisons and bombs on the 2nd screen are also not usable!....
We users documented and tested and figured out exactly what was wrong. Devs were here discussing the issue. Then nothing.
So rogues can't use dex.
Can't use traps. (Must sell them asap or get them out of inventory to avoid having bombs and poisons also not work).
WHERE IS THE SUPPORT FOR THIS FRANCHISE?
If this were Microsoft and you were writing software for businesses, you'd lose all your customer base. Because this is a game, and we are all supposedly kids, (I am not, I'm almost 50), somehow service doesn't matter?
I'VE BEEN PATIENT. Waited for you guys to come here and notice Waited for you to respond. AND WAITED FOR A FIX! The people who coded/tested and quality checked this game, and those whose silence is our only answer, have totally snubbed us. It's been nearly half a year, and we're hanging on two or three scant communications, most of which only say 'hey, there's a problem, really?" when you've FIXED THEM for PC's. If you fix them for some, and the problem is universal, don't you think we all should receive the same treatment for the same $?
I was hoping the "1.03" patch for awakenings would fix these well documented problems. But noooo!. Yes, I did spend the money and I also expect the same service as those on the pc receive. What makes them superior? They ddidn't pay more for the game. they paid the same.
I daresay if you'd refused to hear their cries like you've ignored ours, you'd have a fullscale revolt on your hands.
I have been a Bioware customer since Kotor, but I am seriously thinking perhaps this corporation no longer deserves my business. I'm going to call you guys by phone, because I assume you won't read this, but my frustration level is very high...and I'm not alone.
FIX THE DAMN PRODUCT.

I have a reference number for this, and it will be "escalated" up the chain of command. The part they picked up on is the part where fixes are being made for the PC version of the game, but the same bugs in the console versions are not being fixed (ie. the dex bug, the poisons and traps menu).
I don't know if they documented the specific bugs I mentioned or not. It felt pretty non-resolute, if you ask me. I will follow up on this in days ahead.
I wonder if writing an actual, paper letter would make a difference? Or perhaps buying 100 shares of stock and then talking to shareholder support? Just trying to figure out a way to get a response.
I called Bioware in Canada by telephone, but the main switchboard operator gave me EA's number. When I told her I'd just been on with them for an hour (half of that on hold), she said that's my only recourse. That or this forum. So I mentioned some of the dev's names from this forum, and she recognized the names but would not transfer me to them.
I honestly have no idea what else to do to get satisfaction. Perhaps drive to Edmonton? Road trip? It would take a while...it's a long drive from the lower 48. Too long a drive if they won't let you inside.
I'm a real fan of the games, the writing etc. and I am sensitive to how difficult it must be to fix issues but they did fix some of these things on the pc, so it can't be impossible.
What more can we do? hello? Is anybody out there? 5 months. Isn't that long enough to be patient?

I dont blame you for being upset but I would ask that you and everyone else (me included) give Mr. Lang a fair shot at making some progress for us, it seems a very earnest attempt at fixing some/most of our issues.

Yup, this is a known issue that we are working on as we speak. We are not anti-rouge and we would like to get them up and running properly. Thanks for your diligence so far, we just ask that you be patient just a little longer.

I am a rogue who loves to play with poisons and bombs...but what happens is that NOBODY int he party can use traps or trapmaking without screwing up the menu for me, so I've simply eliminated all traps from my games, it would add so much to be able to use them. New content, once it finally gets fixed!
The dex fix too. though my rogue's stats are so sick, that ina fight with a dozen pirates..I look up and realize that my entire team is dead, and I never even needed a potion for health or anything else. She just ruined the rest of those pirates. A bomb, a firebomb, a few poisons and tons of blade action. She's a sick powerful dwarf rogue with like 89 dex and 68 cunning and 60 str (with equip stat boosts. ) So. She wasn't even worried about those pirates. And she was the only one who isn't knocked down by two dragon thralls.
To Bioware's credit, it's the additional equipment but even more, the 3rd specialization that makes the characters so awesome.
It's just so nice to get a confirmation that the problem is being worked on and is recognized. That's all I wanted. And maybe have a fix in less than a year.
Thanks for the reply!

Do the stats go over 100 (like for dex?) I'm at 94 dex now. I'll find out soon. Level 33. 2 to go.

I am playing as a rogue for the first time (Xbox360), and just recently noticed the problem described in this post (second tier poisons/ traps) since I have mostly played as mage
my question is: if I purchase DA Awakening and update my game... will it fix the problem?
thanks

Yeah, it's the same problem. They never fixed it. Welcome to the new Bioware.
Are you serious?
So what the hell is the point of having poisons, herbalism & trap making when you can't even access anything higher than level 1?? This is absolutely ridiculous. I've got 3rd tier in herbalism & poison across 2 key characters and its damn useless... I may as well restart the game and ignore those skills completely.
So how on earth are some PC forums discussing how to use poisons and traps when others can't even access them? WTF? seriously WTF?

Okay I've been patient. Enough? My original post was 8 months ago. About that long ago I was told a little longer. Wonder if it works now. It didn't about a month ago.
Well its Now November 2010 and it definately does not work for me.
So I've just decided to restart the game and completely ignore poisons, herbalism and trap-making.
AND I've accepted the fact that next time I see a BioWare game, I will think twice before I buy it.

You can have all the poisons and herbalism you like. Just don't carry any traps, and don't get the trapmaking skills. You'll be fine with the rest of it.
No... I can't access anything above Tier 1 so I can make it. Unless of course I've picked up the item and its already in my bags.

So if anyone makes traps, it has to be someone other than my warden. That way it doesn't show up on my warden's wheel.... only when I call up the wheels of other team members..
They know this probelm and have known since nearly day one; I've read the threads. But to my knowledge they've never fixed it.
So I'm only spending my time to help you and others who come along and don't know....because otherwise I'm simply spitting into the wind.
