I beat it in 20 hours..

That may sound like a lot, but i spent 5 of those hours on facebook, and at least 10 runecrafting, leasuring in amaranthine and the keep, and shopping.

My estimate is the main plot took all but 5 hours - for $50.00.. thats $10 an hour.

With the new system, the amount of character building was pathetically low, while in Dragon Age: origins i felt as though I knew the characters all their life.. David Gaider may think the old system was broken, but I think if that is so, they broke the broken system... I found about 7 conversation starting objects throughout the whole game.

As this is the spoiler free forum, I cannot go into this, but i think the end boss was pretty bad... (Not the architect, the other one) I do not mean the difficulty was bad, I mean that the antagonist herself was bad and not worthy of being the finale.

The ending was also very rushed.

There was many new spells, and the characters were great, even though you barely got to know them. Getting to be rhe equivelent of an Arl was also fun, because you got to make decisions that affected the people.

In all, it was an okay expansion well worth playinh, but it did not live up to Bioware's reputation, nor is it worth almodst the full price of DA:O

(I was not expecting this to be a significant review, but my opinion on a few things. I guess I rant a lot though.. haha)

I never did find that spectral dragon though... Where is it?

Um...did you mean this to be in the Awakenings forum? It makes no sense at all when applied to Origins.

Sounds to me like we're getting less and less for our hard earned money. I mean, I heard the new DLC was only about a little more than an hour's worth of gaming. This is all very unfortunate. DA:O was so great, but it sounds like Bioware is taking a serious nose dive as of late.

once again gauging the games price buy how long it takes to complete it, why do people do it ? it is really inaccurate way to measure how a game should cost, since games are not priced that way regardless of whether someone thinks it "should" be
