Steam patches your game automatically, you don't have to worry about updating anything yourself.

sell everything to the dwarf in the party camp so you can easily buy it back and when you get drakescale armor, make sure you pay Wade.

I'm getting ready to finish my first play through and I've thought of how I want to do things differently for the next one. Some really good tips and ideas here. Thanks.

+ Gorim gives you a shield that you will be using for a long if youre dwarf noble

as for leveling a tank warrior this is my idea of leveling:

get threaten + taunt ASAP

Get shield wall as soon as you can and 2-3 damaging abilitys, as for stats Id try to stack as much armor & defense from gear as possible and use spell resistance runes on weapons, as for leveling stats Id try to get around 40 strenght first, ofc you also need to get other stats aswell so I usually put 2points in STR and the remaining 1 point either in dexterity or constitution, once you have around 40str id suggest you to start upping your dexterity, constitution abit aswell but you dont really need that high const. maybe 21 - 25 ? once you hit around 100 defense and have the shield passive talents + shield wall you are in godmode and rest of the game is just pointless steam rolling and at that part you decide you will never ever level another tank warrior since its way too easy
