I find myself unsure of what Bioware defines as "renegade" nowadays.

Lot of times in game I often wondered, "why did they give me renegade points for that?"

I think part of that confusion came from the way they now dole out tiny bits of renegade and paragon in almost every conversation. Often times, picking a neutral option (especially when chosen over an obvious paragon and/or renegade option) will grant +2 paragon and renegade, while the other options would give +5 to their appropriate alignment. It seems Bioware wanted the neutral sheps to have some sort of in-game feedback for their method of achieving their goals, and also wanted more points awarded overall (though on a different scale) seeing as charm and intimidate success is now based on those points instead of partially on talents you have to train.

That all said, having made progress on my renegade Shep with a heart of gold (or something), I am enjoying it much more than I was a "pure" renegade.

Also, 'ey you... yeah, you: the dude that felt the need to define words as if I didn't speak the same language. Fourth definition for soul on dictionary.com:

"4. the emotional part of human nature; the seat of the feelings or sentiments."
Thanks for stopping by. :D
