It is better to use DAO-Modmanager to install those files, faster and reliable.:alien:

It made no sense to give those items to PC only versions of awakenings when every PC user can DL them for free anyway! but console users cant, so it would of made more sense to give the items to them, since console games cost more to buy.

Will anything break if we download them?

Some of them are gamebreaking (The edge, blood dragon armor...) but, no, they won't crash your game or anything.

Thanks for the update, both items are downloaded, however how do you install them? When unzipped, the bow and pearl has a content file and a manifest.xml file, what do you do with them? I tried DAO mod manager but when it installs there is no description of the item (just generic) and there is no name for it. I tried to  unzip the file and rezip under a DAZIP and the updater stops halfway through unzipping with a manifest error. Any help you can give would be MUCH appreciated, thank you..

don't unzip the dazip files, just drag them into your DAO mod manager

Thank you so much for your assistance Kennible, with your suggestions, I finally figured out what was screwy with the zip/dazip files.Looks like for some reason internet explorer is saving the wika files and the official bioware files as .zip extensions, instead of dazips, so that makes them unrecognizable by the daupdater.exe, and corrupts/half install them in da mod manager, so I switched to firefox browser, and all is well..Thanks again =)

Why do you need a code? It doesn't appear to need authentication.

thats nice your game cost more my pc cost 6 times your consoles price. and microsoft and sony sets the price of the game unlike on the pc where bioware gets to set the cost of the game.

Read the second post of this thread.

The DAUpdater is absolutely, completely useless, even after 6 months. I never managed to get it to work properly. Just ignore it and use something non-Bioware.

You can also do 6 times (or more) as many functions/applications on a PC as a gaming console.  Gaming consoles are built to play video games...PC's are built to do a number of things (from gaming to internet to word processing to 3D modeling to..), so a higher price for your PC makes sense.  In other words, your comparison was completely illogical and unneeded.

Read Aldaris951's post again to see he only pointed out the inaneness of having these codes for PC only--you can already manually install them for PC anyway, why released them with codes ONLY for PC when the codes are ONLY needed for consoles?  Its a valid question, I think, console or PC user.

They were simply pointing out a flaw in the logic of the promotion.

Seriously, why does it always boil down to an US vs. THEM argument?

MY PC IS BETTER THAN UR CONSOLE!!!!  PC 4 THA WIN!!!!!
