damn, its like im beta testing this damn thing, its not even fun at this point, some things i bumped in to:

CHaracters swiming (stuck in a movement, and it looks silly, they can still hit but they will keep going back to there aawwwsome swimming move, if u dont know what that looks like UR LUCKY!)

battle sounds dont appear, 50% of the times i can hear darkspwn sounds and characters talking but the blades and so dont make any sounds, takes away from the moment.

if u have more then 8 saves u cannot import characters.

you can't use the re-skill tombs bought in the store on any character.

people talk about alistair if he wos alive (hes not in my game)

CURRENTLY im carrying 290/120 load, thats awwsome though, never change that, lol!

2 scenes didn't load and i had to load the save to do them again

oh yeah, good 3 hours lol (not) im gonna go to sleep, bioware, WTF? lol..
well at least theres some awwsome items

1. Sound seems to be broken in the Vigils keep. In combat I can only hear some grunting, and no other fight sounds. And opening chests are silent. Restarting the ps3 helps, but as soon as I change area the sound f00bars again. Music goes away all the time leaving the game in total silcene...

2. In the Vigil keep courtyard the darkspawn are supposed to break open the door to the guardhouse/wall, but they just stand there in front of the door looking dumb...

Air of Insolence seems to create a lot of sound problems. Turning that off helps a bit. It sounds like you have a limited amount of sound channels and that sounds fail to play cause there are none left... I get this sudden c64-4channel feeling... ;-P

And all this is just from 30 minutes of playing, I dread to find what else is bugged...

To use the tome of skill, you have to open up your radial menu and select potions, then use it through that. As for the bugs, there seems to be a ton of little bugs here and there. I'm guessing they really didn't do a good job of beta testing and was probably rushed to get this out to the public. Too bad, lots of potential with really little substance

yeah i know how the book "should be used" the other books i took along for the expension work fine but this book, unlike the heraldic books and so doesn't have a "X" use button so im 100% possitive its not working.

No, you don't need the X button.

Radial menu only

I don't find it any buggier than Origins. I was disappointed how buggy Origins could be, I feel better prepared for what to expect now.

If anything, the camera is smoother and the graphics look more rich (depth of color, more detailed.)

Gotta say buggy P.O.S.

Crashed twice. No sounds other than grunting. Only played an hour so far. Great job on the testing.

Ive finished the game and now am almost done with a second playthrough... I am very disapointed and upset at the tons of bugs and crashes and various glitches... one of which has made it impossible to complete the stone puzzle in the Wending woods...

I have noticed that if you bought the hard disc copy it has the "dragon age patch" thing on the XMB... if you load this everytime you go to play the game seems to run a LOT better for some reason... less visual and sound glitches for sure...

but i do agree that this overpriced game should have been tested WAY more before it was released and i stand by my initial response stating that i will not buy another Bioware game...

that statement is more due to fact that the company seems to care more for Xbox and PC users and has shown some lack of respect to PS3 owners!!!

only bug I have hit was the hug bug aka swim bug. and that was easy to solve by just switching your weapon set and then switching back. was great in a funny way that it happened before a cut scene at Vigil's Keep, was like he wanted to go round hugging the new people he met.

Bigj0550:

According to the instruction manual, you're supposed to rerun the DAO patch if you have the disc version of DAA. I did that before I fired up DAA for the first time, and I haven't experienced any game-breaking bugs (yet). I have, however, encountered several cosmetic bugs, including missing codex entries, occasional sound issues and the rare graphical glitch (a cloned guard almost right behind her original in a cutscene in Amaranthine!)

I had that happen once. Did you click to speak to the gaurd when it happened or moved close enough to the city to trigger the event? I have found that it only creates the double if you talk to the gaurd instead of letting the event trigger.

I too completed the stone/ fire puzzle in the Wending Wood without getting the reward.

Spoiler!

All the points were lit, but not all the paths. I presume that is the solution?

I kept moving the stoned around, and eventually extinguished the flame. I got the chest with the reward. It was really hapzard, but maybe try to move some of the stones back to the outer rim (it's what I did).

I have to say one of the funnier bugs I've run into was Oghren's face being gone in a cutscene. He was all red hair and beard...I was like wtf when did I recruit the wolfman?

lol @ kelanil.

i also noticed a bug i was leaving the city and all the sudden instead of the world map i was on a tower and a gaurd told me hey who are u, i freed a prisoner who later helped me defend the keep... but the way i got up there is still a teleporting mystery
