So, you can side with Zathrian and kill them.
Or end the curse.
Both seem to count for the Poacher achievement.

If you get the Werewolves to kill the elves, you get the Slayer achievement.

Is that it?
Or is there a way to get both elves and werewolves to join you?

This was by far my favorite treaty to get done. I thought the tale was very well written - It actually took me completely by surprise. Anyways the amount of achievements was a little off. I got Poacher and honestly I don't feel like I sided with the elves according to the dialog.

I just got my poacher achievement a little while ago too- I didn't think I sided with the elves...In fact I attacked the elves with the werewolves!! In that case I think that there should been the plot story where the curse is retracted, all the werewolves return to normal form without suffering but maintain the ability to turn into a werewolf, having both join you and the achievement 'The Diplomat'

agreed. i am still wondering where those human ex-werewolves went btw. i have not found a trace of them anymore in game.

I think the achievement makes sense in the context of who joins your army. If you end the curse, the elves still end up fighting with you.

Due to the number of quests, origins, and endings they could probably only come up with two achievements per quest.
