I finished the game choosing to let Morrigan have the child, so myself or Alistair died but for some reason I cannot play the Return to Ostagar DLC on this save? Every time I leave the castle it goes to the credits...
Does anyone know how to fix this?

What do you mean "Leave the castle"?
After the credits I loaded the autosave and was in my camp. You can only visit the DLC areas after that.

You finish the game - You will gain access to an autosave - Load that up and leave the first place - now you can go explore DLC
