Dude, mad props.  Thank you for breathing some life into the 360 forum.  Is it sad that we're ecstatic just to be told that someone from Bioware is putting some thought into our issues?  Maybe so, but we'll take what we can get.  Thanks for making the effort.

I agree, it truly is a breath of fresh air. I'm also very happy to see this thread, it's good to see him get appreciation for what he is doing for us.

Cheers to Michael Lang and you too Harbringerr .

Thank you, mr. Lang, for acting like a professional. One might think this is the minimum one should expect from a company with Bioware's pedigree, but kudos to you anyway and thank you for not making console users feel like second-class citizens.

WTF you have to be kidding.  After four months a dev. decide to throw us a crumb without any real date and you bow down. Get some perspective please. This is a joke and BW know it! Until I have an update that fixes the bugs which should of been fixed on the Q&A before release then this is all BS PR spin. Xbox Awakening sales have tanked and now they come and try to be nice. What a joke.

Myself, I am still skeptical, but that's to be expected from what I've seen so far. That being said, seeing someone actually come here and post not once, but a few times gives me some hope that we may get some fixes.

True, but that's not Mr Lang's fault... and he is taking the time to be here, so I think we can still give him some appreciation while he's here, eh? :)

And have Awakenings Xbox sales tanked? I'm quite interested to know.

I wonder when we can expect a title update. Since the developers posting like mad men in the tech forums lately.

So you complain when BW doesn't reply and you complain when BW does reply.  I realize nothing has happened yet.  That doesn't change the fact that our bugs have been acknowledged and are actively being worked on.  I'd rather take an optimistic 'wait and see' attitude than a hostile one.  But that's me.

I'm not sure the outcry on the forums affected sales. I haven't seen any reports as of yet. But the poor customer service could not help. Any business which ignores their customers and preys on the ignorant to purchase their faulty products deserves to lose money. I don't wish ill on any of the companies involved and lay no blame on any particlair party. But whoeever arranged how these companys would work together on this project has earned whatever wrath befalls them.

It's a start at least. Thank you bioware for finnally addressing the community.

But mad props? Noooo... I don't think so. Where have you been? WHY did it take so long just to pop in and say "We hear you". Most people who spoke out on this forum wanted you to acknowledge there were problems with this game. I'm sure everything would be better if SOMEONE just popped in and did some damage control.

At this point - there should be a list. A "the list of complaints" message compiled by YOU and posted on the board with a sticky. Then you can say "yep, we hear you". Most poeple would then be content. A few would then rant about patch dates, but most would acknowledge you are at least working towards a solution.

And if you ever get to a point where you won't be fixing a bug, POST IT. Let your customers know that you consider the product finished. That way we can decide if we want to purchase it.

Grim, I understand your POV and for the most part I agree with you. I've just decided the best aproach (for me) is to let the past be the past and let optimism take over.

I know we're all still peeved about the months of waiting with no real response but now that we have Mr. Lang in here responding etc. I hope we all decide to give him benefit of the doubt.

Ummm... he wasn't complaining. He was just putting things in perspective. Making an appreciation thread would make sense once things actually get fixed. Till then it's just talk. Talk which just happens to coincide with a newly released product. Face facts the only reason we got a dev in here is because of Awakenings. I'll belive that there is a fix for Xbox useres when I see it.

Ditto Taiko and Necro.

Personally, you'll get nothing but indignant scorn from me until I see results. I'll "appreciate" an honest attempt at action, nothing less will settle the wrath of this cynic.

This thread reminds me of Obama's Nobel Peace Prize....

Everyone should realize they already got what they wanted. You bought the game already. More praise means nothing. Show action through your wallet. It doesn't matter though, we'll still buy their stuff even if we had a bad experience. I just wish they had some type of feedback and actually showed status on stuff.

Sony online would release updates and newsletters on things being worked on. That would be nice. Heck, I'd kill for a server status page. Going on 3 days now and I can't get on the servers.

Thats why I'm buying Bioware games used for my 360 from now on. Perfect solution if you want to play their games but don't want to reward them for their lack of support.

I definitely support the used market, but in return it has to be bought initially to be used. But every little hit helps and that's why a while ago publishers were so upset with Gamestop because they weren't making any money off used game sales.

You expect me to give a portion of sales to an automotive manufacturer is I sell my car used to somebody else? Freak no, so why should it be different for game publishers.
