Thats why I'm buying Bioware games used for my 360 from now on. Perfect solution if you want to play their games but don't want to reward them for their lack of support.
Exactly what I'm doing!

Danny, I wouldn't expect anything for at least another month. It sounds like they have their work cut out for 'em. Do what I'm doing and enjoy Mass Effect 2, a game that's significantly less buggy at the moment.

Add me to the list of those who will now only purchase used Bioware games. At least maybe they will actually work properly when I get around to playing them.

Losing an extra character or bonus gear is no big deal. Games will still be playable. As for used games and scratches. Install to harddrive when you get the used game home. If it fully installs then there is nothing to worry about and the game will work fine. I'm on my 3rd 360 so I always install my games so I can avoid the 3 rings of death and the wear and tear on the disc drive (Oblivion killed the disc drive on my second 360).

Let's clarify: It's no big deal to YOU. To ME, when I buy anything, I expect all features to work as intended or promised. I personally am NOT okay with new things coming out of the package broken, lost, or not working whether I'm buying a car, a house, a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, or a video game. If it was advertised as such, that would be one thing. To me, it IS a big deal to lose those things, especially when they are part of the reason I made said purchase to begin with. I feel everyone can have their own feelings and let others have theirs. Mine and others feelings of NOT being happy with the bugs and issues does not invalidate your or anyone else's being okay with it. If I don't like strawberry ice cream and someone else think's it's the greatest in the world, both of those perspectives can co-exist peacefully with acceptance by both.

Perhaps you are right in that I am reading his post wrong. Perhaps I made a mistake in my interpretation, that certainly happens. That's how I read it and that's how I responded. The original poster certainly can clarify. Due to my unfortunate lack of telepathic powers, I have to make due with my own perspective.
To me, it sounds like you are the one who feels upset, who feels that my response was unfair or incorrectly applied, which is understandable and completely fair, but if so, I feel it's better to just stick with that and leave out claiming to know what someone else meant. Who can (sanely) argue that anyone else shouldn't feel the way they do? One can, however, quite easily poke holes in someone claiming to know with any certaintly what anyone else's words really mean.
I believe in strong advocation of myself, my opinions, and thoughts and sometimes that requires an apology or two along the way (and will again in future I'm sure), but I prefer that greatly over regrets for not saying what I feel, especially when I feel strongly about something (and concerning this poor broken expansion pack, I have very strong feelings indeed).
